INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE INTAKE POWER BOOSTER SYSTEM
An internal combustion engine includes an intake conduit fluidically coupled to ambient fluid and having an internal cross-sectional area and an engine cylinder fluidically coupled to the intake conduit. A fluidic amplifier is disposed within the intake conduit and is fluidically coupled to the ambient fluid and engine cylinder. The amplifier is further fluidically coupled to a source of primary fluid and is configured to introduce the primary fluid and at least a portion of the ambient fluid to the engine cylinder.

COBRA HEAD AIR INTAKE PORTS AND INTAKE MANIFOLDS
The present disclosure provides air intake ports and/or intake manifolds having an altered configuration to improve the efficiency of the air intake ports, intake manifolds, and by extension, the engine.
INTAKE AIR INCREASING DEVICE
The intake increasing device 100 pertaining to the present invention is for increasing air intake of an engine, and is provided with, a cylindrical wall part 20 having an intake inlet 20in and an intake outlet 20out, the wall part 20 leading intake air from the intake air inlet 20in to the intake air outlet 20out, an ejection port 30 for ejecting air F2 flowing along an inner circumferential surface 21 of the wall portion 20 to an air intake downstream side, the ejection port 30 being provided in the wall part 20; and a fan 40 for sending air to the ejection port 30.
Air cleaner assembly for an internal combustion engine
An air cleaner assembly (100) for an internal combustion engine, has a housing (10) with at least one intake air inlet and at least one intake air outlet (14) formed in the housing wall (18) for supplying an intake air to the internal combustion engine, at least one filter element disposed within the housing (10) for filtering the intake air, separating a rough air side from a clean air side inside the housing (10), and at least one flow straightener insert (20) comprising a body structure (40) with a hydrocarbon absorbing medium (30) disposed at the clean air side of the filter element. The at least one outlet (14) accommodates the at least one flow straightener insert (20).
MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR AND HYDROCARBON TRAP COMBINATION
A combined mass airflow sensor and hydrocarbon trap is provided for absorbing evaporative hydrocarbon emissions from an air intake duct of an internal combustion engine. The combined mass airflow sensor and hydrocarbon trap comprises a duct that supports a hydrocarbon absorbing sheet in an unfolded configuration within a housing. The duct communicates an airstream from an air filter to the air intake duct during operation of the internal combustion engine. An opening in the housing receives a mass airflow sensor into the duct, such that the mass airflow sensor is disposed within the airstream. Guide vanes extending across the duct reduce air turbulence within the airstream passing by the mass airflow sensor. Ports disposed along the duct allow the evaporative hydrocarbon emissions to be drawn into the interior and arrested by the hydrocarbon absorbing sheet when the internal combustion engine is not operating.
Apparatus and Method for Increasing Air Flow and Air Velocity Entering the Air Intake of an Internal Combustion Engine
Apparatus and method for directing airflow into the air intake (carburetor or fuel injection system) of an internal combustion engine for increasing air flow velocity and the quantity of air reaching the cylinder or cylinders thereof through the use of an electrically powered fan, are described. The fan is installed inside of the air filter element such that when the air intake throttle plates are closed or partially closed, the unused airflow exits the apparatus to relieve the pressure created by the fan, and when additional air is needed by the engine, air can enter the filter element. The fan may be continuously operated during the operation of the motor, and at all engine speeds.
INTAKE DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An intake device for an internal combustion engine configures a flow passage for intake air that is drawn into combustion chambers. The intake device includes an intake manifold configuring multiple runners that respectively distribute intake air to multiple cylinders, a surge tank including a cavity that is connected to the runners and defines a convergence portion, a throttle body incorporating a throttle valve, and a connection pipe connecting the surge tank and the throttle body and configuring a curved flow passage extending between the throttle body and the surge tank. The connection pipe includes a partition plate that divides the curved flow passage into a circumferentially inner flow passage and a circumferentially outer flow passage.
PRO STOCK FUEL INJECTION AIR INTAKE ASSEMBLY
An apparatus and a method are provided for an air intake assembly configured for use with Pro Stock vehicles comprising fuel injection equipped engines. The air intake assembly comprises an air inlet that includes a distal opening disposed in a forward direction at a front of the vehicle and configured to direct incident air into the air intake assembly. An air duct is joined with the air inlet by way of a first coupler configured to maintain an airtight seal between the air inlet and the air duct. A throttle body adapter is joined with the air duct by way of a second coupler configured to maintain an airtight seal therebetween. The throttle body adapter is configured to establish an airtight coupling between the air intake assembly and a throttle body of the engine, such that the incident air is directed into the throttle body.
