The first peripheral wall and the second peripheral wall are arranged at a distance in relation to each other in a longitudinal section of the connecting support. The channels extend from the first side to a second side of the connecting support. On the second side, the first channel and the second channel end at a common connecting flange.

Deployment or retraction of the air deflecting element is responsive to at least one of forward speed of the vehicle, air pressure downstream of an air inlet opening, or throttle position, and may further be responsive to detection of precipitation and/or particulate material. An air deflecting element may include a moveable plate or flap, moveable louvers, or a moveable duct.

An air filter enclosure assembly is mounted to the cross-member over an open face of the recess. The air filter enclosure assembly may include an air filter enclosure (42) and an air filter (90).

Air induction systems for internal combustion engines

Air induction systems are for an internal combustion engine. The air induction systems comprise an air intake plenum that conducts intake airflow to an air cleaner for cleaning prior to combustion in the internal combustion engine. The air intake plenum is movable with respect to the air cleaner between an open position separated from the air cleaner and a closed position connected to the air cleaner. A bellows connects the air intake plenum to the air cleaner when the air intake plenum is in the closed position. The bellows has an upstream first end that seals with the air intake plenum and a downstream second end that seals with the air cleaner. A spring is disposed in the bellows. The spring applies a biasing pressure on the bellows that encourages sealing between the bellows and at least one of the air intake plenum and the air cleaner when the air intake plenum is in the closed position. A shield is provided that blocks inflow of rain water to the bellows when the air intake plenum is in the open position.

In some aspects, the abrasion resistant reinforcement patch is in contact with another underhood component. In some aspects, the abrasion resistant reinforcement patch may include a woven fabric, a knitted fabric, a fabric mesh or a fabric braid. Also yarns forming the abrasion resistant reinforcement patch may be provided with an impregnation. The abrasion resistant reinforcement patch may also have a coating.

Vehicular conduit retention assembly

This disclosure relates to a conduit or pipe retention assembly for a vehicle. A vehicle fluid conduit outer perimeter surface includes one or more protrusions mechanically printed on the outer perimeter surface of the conduit or pipe. A mounting clip is mounted to the fluid conduit adjacent to one of the protrusions. The mounting clip includes retention devices for attaching the conduit to a vehicular structure.

The laminate according to the present invention includes a structure including, in order, an olefin-type rubber layer (A) ; an adhesive resin layer (B) containing at least one selected from the group consisting of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, a silane-modified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, an ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer and an ionomer thereof, and an ethylene/methacrylic acid copolymer and an ionomer thereof; and a rubber layer (C) containing Group 16 elements and/or Group 17 elements.

Laminate
