Vehicle
A utility vehicle includes a plurality of ground-engaging members, a frame supported by the ground-engaging members, and a plurality of body panels supported by the frame. The utility vehicle also includes a radiator supported on a rear portion of the frame. Additionally, the utility vehicle includes an air intake assembly partially supported by an upper portion of the frame.
AIR INTAKE DEVICE WITH A VARIABLE-LENGTH INTAKE DUCT AND A SEPARATE CENTERING DEVICE
An air intake device with a variable-length intake duct, comprising: a base duct component with a base duct, configured for the passage of intake air through the base duct component, an extension duct component with an extension duct, configured for the passage of intake air through the extension duct component, a guidance arrangement which guides the extension duct component and the base duct component to relative movement between a first operating position and a second operating position, wherein in the first operating position the base duct and the extension duct form, in mutually prolonging abutment, a continuous duct section, and wherein in the second operating position the extension duct is arranged at a distance from the base duct, and a first centering arrangement which when the duct components approach the first operating position is configured to decrease a radial distance in relation to a virtual base duct path conceived as passing centrally through the base duct between an end section of the base duct facing towards the extension duct component and an end section of the extension duct facing towards the base duct component, wherein the first centering arrangement is configured as separate from the base duct and from the extension duct.
Component having a flange connection element
Disclosed is a component having a flange connection element connectable to a flange connection counterpart of another component by bolts and/or screws, the flange connection element comprising a contact surface to be pressed against a contact surface of the flange connection counterpart, whereby the contact surface of the flange connection element is formed such that it does not completely surround at least one of the bolts and/or screws. Alternatively or in addition, the flange connection element may have a recess in at least one of its side surfaces using the contact pressure in an edge part of the contact surface extending below the recess.

EGR EJECTOR SYSTEM
An exhaust gas recirculation ejector system for an engine that includes an air conduit coupled to an engine providing charge air to the engine. The air conduit includes at least one bend formed therein. The at least one bend includes a port formed therein. An EGR conduit is coupled to an exhaust manifold of the engine at a first end of the EGR conduit. A second end of the EGR conduit passes through the port and extends into the air conduit at the bend defining an ejector mixing the charge air and exhaust gas before entry into the engine.
ENGINE AIR INTAKE DEVICE
A cover covering an engine and an intake duct for introducing fresh air outside an engine room into a combustion chamber of the engine are provided in the engine room. The cover includes a top face cover portion covering the engine from above, and a side face cover portion covering the engine from the lateral side. The intake duct is disposed so as to be continuous to a side edge of the side face cover portion such that the intake duct covers the engine from the lateral side together with the side face cover portion.
Two-stroke internal combustion engine
The two-stroke internal combustion engine has an engine crankcase including a sealing mechanism that, at all times and under all circumstances, confine the oil in the lower crankcase. The two-stroke engine uses a gaseous fuel based on dihydrogen and dioxygen, and releases only water vapor charged with unused gaseous fuel. A device for recycling the exhaust gases serves to recover the unused gaseous fuel and to reinject it at the intake opening, or the exhaust opening.
Air intake system for a vehicle
An air intake system for a vehicle has a conduit having an internal wall forming an air passage. A deflector is disposed within the air passage. A restricting structure is disposed within the air passage between the deflector and a conduit outlet. The restricting structure defines at least in part an opening substantially laterally aligned with the deflector. The restricting structure has a lateral wall disposed downstream of the deflector and extending within the air passage. The lateral wall has a front surface generally facing a conduit inlet, and a plurality of surface-increasing features provided on the front surface. Each of the surface-increasing features has a length of at least 1 mm measured from the front surface in a direction normal thereto. An air intake system having a collector connected to the deflector and positioned to collect at least some moisture from air flowing past the deflector is also described.
Throttle controlled intake system
A throttle-controlled intake system is disclosed that provides a driver of a vehicle with greater control over engine functions and vehicle performance. The throttle-controlled intake system includes a control module that is coupled with an aircharger air intake. The control module processes input signals from a throttle pedal of the vehicle and sends modified throttle position signals to a throttle body of the vehicle so as to increase throttle responsiveness of the vehicle. The throttle-controlled intake system further includes a wiring harness and a signal adjuster. The wiring harness electrically couples the control module with the throttle pedal and the throttle body. The control module sends signals directly to the throttle body of the engine, bypassing an electronic control unit of the vehicle. The signal adjuster includes a rheostat that enables manual adjustment of the throttle responsiveness of the vehicle.
Multi-lipped gasket for an air intake assembly
Systems and methods are disclosed for an air intake assembly comprising an airbox defining a plenum for enclosing an air filter, an intake tube attached to the air filter at a first end of the intake tube, the intake tube having a shoulder, and a multi-lipped gasket for detachably connecting the intake tube to the airbox, the multi-lipped gasket comprising a body portion defining a bore for sealingly engaging the intake tube, a lip adjacent the bore for engaging the shoulder of the intake tube, and a pair of distal lips for sealingly engaging the airbox, wherein the airbox, the air filter, and the intake tube are adapted so that air flows into the airbox, through the air filter, through the intake tube, and into a combustion engine (optionally reaching the combustion engine by first passing through a turbocharger and intercooler) of a vehicle.
