Engine device
An engine device including: an EGR device configured to circulate, as EGR gas, a portion of exhaust gas exhausted from an exhaust manifold to an intake manifold; and an EGR cooler configured to cool EGR gas and supply the EGR gas to the EGR device. The EGR cooler includes a heat exchanger and a pair of flange portions. The heat exchanger has a coolant passage and an EGR gas fluid passage alternately stacked. The flange portions are disposed on the heat exchanger. An outlet of the coolant is disposed in one of the flange portions, while an inlet of the coolant is disposed in the other flange portion. An inlet of the EGR gas is disposed in one of the flange portions, while an outlet of the EGR gas is disposed in the other flange portion.
Intake port
An intake port may include a short port and a long port. The short port may include a main extension portion extending from an intake air inlet; a main inclined portion inclined at a predetermined angle from the main extension portion toward a center of a cylinder; a main vertical portion bending downward toward the cylinder from the main inclined portion; and a main intake air outlet formed at an end portion of the main vertical portion. The long port may include an auxiliary extension portion extending from the main extension portion; an auxiliary inclined portion which is inclined at a predetermined angle from the auxiliary extension portion toward the center of the cylinder and inclined at a predetermined angle downward toward the cylinder; an auxiliary vertical portion bending downward from the auxiliary inclined portion; and an auxiliary intake air outlet at an end portion of the auxiliary vertical portion.

INTAKE MANIFOLD
An intake manifold includes a passage wall portion having a first member passage wall portion provided at a first member, a second member passage wall portion provided at a second member, and an inner joint portion including a division point at which an inner joint portion is divided from an outer peripheral joint portion, the inner joint portion at which the first member passage wall portion and the second member passage wall portion are joined with each other. At least a part of the inner joint portion except for the division point is arranged at a height position closer to a middle part of a gas passage than the division point in a first direction in which the first member and the second member are opposed with each other.

AIR INTAKE SYSTEM FOR MULTI-CYLINDER ENGINE
Intake ports include a second port configured such that a flow rate of flowing gas is adjusted via a swirl control valve. When a surge tank is viewed in a cylinder axis direction, first and second branched passages are connected with a space being interposed therebetween in a cylinder array direction, and are connected to the surge tank on extension lines, each of which extends from an upstream end portion of an independent passage connected to the second port to an opposite side of each cylinder.
AIR INTAKE PASSAGE STRUCTURE FOR ENGINE
An air intake passage (30) has a third passage (37) that connects an intercooler (36) and a bottom portion of a surge tank (38) such that the intercooler (36) is positioned below the surge tank (38). A pair of wall portions (71, 72) configured to catch moisture is formed in a section from an upstream end portion of the third passage (37) to a connected portion between said third passage (37) and the surge tank (38).

The short port may include a main extension portion extending from an intake air inlet; a main inclined portion inclined at a predetermined angle from the main extension portion toward a center of a cylinder; a main vertical portion which bends downward toward the cylinder from the main inclined portion; and a main intake air outlet formed at an end portion of the main vertical portion. The long port may include an auxiliary extension portion extending from the main extension portion; an auxiliary vertical portion bending downward toward the cylinder from the auxiliary extension portion; and a partition wall portion between the auxiliary extension portion and the auxiliary vertical portion, which allows the intake air to flow in a direction opposite to a direction in which the intake air introduced into the cylinder through the short port flows.

Air intake apparatus of multi-cylinder engine having secondary gas inlet passage connected to intake air inlet passage
An air intake apparatus of a multi-cylinder engine includes an intake air inlet passage, an intake air distribution portion, a plurality of independent intake air passages, and a secondary gas inlet passage. The intake air inlet passage has one end portion attached to a throttle valve, and the other end connected to an intake air distribution portion. The intake air distribution portion has a space therein. The secondary gas inlet passage is connected at a part spaced apart, in the intake air inlet passage, from the throttle valve. The intake air distribution portion has a reflux passage which is a passage that connects the space and a part between the one end portion and the other end in the intake air inlet passage. The reflux passage is a passage which refluxes fresh air and secondary gas introduced from the intake air inlet passage to the intake air inlet passage.
