FILTRATION SYSTEM
A filtration system for a fuel system for a marine vessel engine. The system comprising: an inlet for fluid connection to a settling tank; an outlet for fluid connection to a service tank; and an arrangement of plural primary filtration devices The arrangement is fluidly connected between the inlet and outlet so that fuel flowing from the settling tank via the inlet to the service tank via the outlet passes through at least one of the primary filtration devices. The system is configured so that each respective primary filtration device operates, independently of each other primary filtration device in: a first mode, in which the fuel flows in a first direction through a filter of the respective primary filtration device to remove contaminants from the fuel, or a second mode, in which a fluid flows through the filter in a second direction, opposite the first direction, to dislodge the contaminants.

FUEL FILTER ELEMENT
The present application relates to the field of fuel filter components of internal combustion engines, and discloses a fuel filter element, including a filter element main body and a protective cover. A fuel return column extends from an upper end surface of the filter element main body. The protective cover is formed with a U-shaped groove adapted to the fuel return column, is adaptively installed on the filter element main body and is of an annular hollow structure. The U-shaped groove accommodates the fuel return column to form a protective assembly. Therefore, the problem of poor sealing caused by installation deformation damage and installation deviation of the fuel return column, and the cost of a hollow structure of the protective cover are reduced.

FUEL FILTER
A fuel filter for an internal combustion engine may include a filter housing, a filter housing cover detachably connected to the filter housing, a filter space delimited by the filter housing cover and the filter housing, and a ring filter element arranged in the filter space. The filter housing cover may include a head portion and a foot portion. The filter housing cover may have at least one foot inner diameter and at least one head inner diameter that extend transversely to an axial direction. The ring filter element may have at least one outer diameter that corresponds to the at least one foot inner diameter. The at least one head inner diameter may be smaller than the at least one foot inner diameter. The ring filter element may form a venting device, which may form at least one venting channel that leads into the head portion.

FUEL FILTER
A fuel filter may include a housing and a coalescer arranged in the housing. The coalescer may be configured to separate out water contained in a fuel. The coalescer may include a coalescer material suitable for coalescing water. The fuel may be flowable through the coalescer in a throughflow direction. The coalescer material may include a plurality of fibres, which may have a primary orientation that is essentially parallel to the throughflow direction.
