FUEL PUMP MODULE
A fuel pump module includes a fuel pump, a housing, a filter, a bracket, a lid, a fuel passage, and a pressure regulating valve. The fuel pump supplies a fuel in a fuel tank that defines an opening to an outside of the fuel tank. The housing has a cylindrical shape and supports the fuel pump. The bracket connects the filter to the housing. The lid covers the opening and defines a discharge port through which the fuel is supplied to the outside. The fuel passage connects the fuel pump to the discharge port. The pressure regulating valve has a gravity center inside a space defined by a first virtual cylindrical surface including the housing. A minimum circumscribed circle of both the housing and the filter is smaller than the opening.
FUEL PUMP MODULE, FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE, AND METHOD OF INSTALLING FUEL PUMP MODULE IN FUEL TANK
A fuel pump module includes: a pump unit; a lid provided to close an opening of a fuel tank; and a flexible fuel tube. The pump unit includes a fuel pump configured to pump fuel out of the fuel tank, a housing that holds the fuel pump, and a filter configured to filter the fuel. The lid has a discharge port to supply the fuel to outside of the fuel tank. The flexible fuel tube connects the pump unit and the discharge port. The housing includes a guide portion configured to fix the pump unit to a fixing member having a pair of rails provided in the fuel tank, and a separation regulating member configured to regulate the guide portion from separating from the pair of rails by engaging with the fixing member.

FUEL SUPPLY ASSEMBLY WITH IN-TANK RESERVOIR
A fuel supply assembly includes a reservoir, primary and secondary fuel pumps and a pressure regulator. The secondary fuel pump has first and second inlets, and an outlet. The first inlet receives at least some fuel discharged from a pressure regulator outlet, a nozzle communicated with the first inlet so that a flow of fuel through the nozzle creates a drop in pressure in the area of the second fuel inlet to draw fuel from the supply of fuel through the second inlet and the fuel drawn in through the second fuel inlet is combined with the flow of fuel from the nozzle and the combined fuel flows are discharged from the secondary fuel pump outlet and into the reservoir. The primary fuel pump may be located outside of an interior of the reservoir and the secondary fuel pump may be connected to the reservoir by rigid or flexible conduits.

Using a passive separator to separate air and fuel of a fuel mixture passively when delivering fuel to a combustion engine of an unmanned aerial vehicle
A fuel delivery system has a tank, a fuel pump, and an air filtering apparatus coupled with the tank and the fuel pump. The air filtering apparatus includes a housing that defines a housing chamber, a fuel flow controller coupled with the housing, and a passive separator disposed within the housing chamber. The passive separator is constructed and arranged to separate air and fuel of a fuel mixture passively while the fuel mixture enters the housing chamber from the tank and while filtered fuel exits the housing chamber toward the fuel pump in response to operation of the fuel flow controller. Such a system is well-suited for supplying fuel to a combustion engine in which consistent fuel pressure may be critical. Furthermore, the passive separator alleviates the need for a power source for active air and fuel separation, a control mechanism, and so on.
Valve device and fuel filter module
A valve device for a fuel filter module has a first fluid channel through which fuel flows only in recirculation mode of the fuel filter module and a second fluid channel through which fuel flows only outside of the recirculation mode. The first fluid channel extends inside the second fluid channel. The first and second fluid channels are coaxial to each other. A fuel filter module switchable into recirculation mode and out of recirculation mode is provided with a control valve that has a valve bore and a valve device arranged in the valve bore, wherein the valve device has a first fluid channel through which fuel flows only in recirculation mode and a second fluid channel through which fuel flows only outside of the recirculation mode. The first fluid channel extends inside the second fluid channel, and the first and second fluid channels are coaxial to each other.
