IN-TANK FUEL SYSTEM COMPONENT RETENTION MEMBER
In at least some implementations, a device includes a fuel system component having a body through which fuel flows, and a retention member body connected to the body of the fuel system component, the retention member body having one or more retainers that are flexible and resilient, and that extend outwardly from the retention member body and that are arranged to engaged spaced apart portions of an interior of a fuel tank to retain the position in the fuel tank of the fuel system component.
Fuel filter
A fuel filter assembly includes a filter housing, a center stack, a top portion, a center stack base, and a fuel filter. The fuel filter includes a filter center support having a first portion extending along a first axial length, and a second portion extending along a second axial length, the first portion having a first inner diameter that is greater than a second inner diameter of the second portion, and having a first inner contact surface at the first inner diameter, and a filter base having an opening, the opening having an opening diameter and defining a second inner contact surface. When positioned within the filter housing, the fuel filter contacts the center stack at a first axial location and at the first inner contact surface, and it contacts a center stack base of the center stack at a second axial location and at the second inner contact surface.

Filtering device
A filtering device may includes a bag-shaped filter member that is capable of being connected to a fuel inlet port of a fuel pump disposed in a fuel tank in order to filtrate fuel drawn by the fuel pump, and a wall member that is connected to the filter member such that a fuel reservoir portion can be defined above the filter member.
Fuel supply device
A fuel supply device includes a filter device, a pump, a suction pipe, and a bubble removing device. The filter device includes a first filter that filters a fuel, a filter chamber surrounded by the first filter, and a filter opening that is in fluid communication with the filter chamber. The pump has a pump suction port for drawing the fuel from the filter chamber. The suction pipe fluidly connects the filter opening to the pump suction port. The bubble removing device is disposed in at least one of the filter device and the suction pipe. The bubble removing device includes a valve device that is configured to discharge a bubble contained in the fuel to the internal space of the fuel tank, and a foreign matter regulator that is disposed between the valve device and the internal space and that regulates or prevents a foreign matter contained in the fuel from flowing into the fuel supply device.

FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE
A fuel supply device includes a fuel pump, a filter case, a fuel passage, a discharge passage, and a residual pressure holding valve. A communication port opens at a shifted position of the fuel passage that is positionally shifted from the residual pressure holding valve toward the discharge passage. The fuel passage includes an outside passage part through which fuel flows from the communication port toward the discharge passage, and an inside passage part that throttles a flow of fuel flowing from the communication port toward the residual pressure holding valve more than the outside passage part. When a passage cross-sectional area of the inside passage part is converted into a passage cross-sectional area of a circular pipe, D which is a passage diameter of the circular pipe, and L which is a length of the inside passage part satisfy a relational expression of L/D≧3.

Liquid filter and tank filter system including a liquid filter
A liquid filter for removing particles from a liquid, in particular from fuel or a urea solution, includes a first filter medium, a second filter medium, and a supporting frame including a supporting frame wall. The supporting frame wall includes first and front faces facing away from each other. The first filter medium is fastened to the first front face in a fluid-tight manner, and the second filter medium is fastened to the second front face in a fluid-tight manner. The supporting frame, the first filter medium, and the second filter medium enclose an interior space. The supporting frame includes a passage opening, a first filter element being situated in the interior space and being connected, in a fluid-conducting manner, to an exterior space of the liquid filter using the passage opening.
