FUEL INJECTION CONTROL DEVICE

A fuel injection control device includes a valve closing detection unit to detect a valve closing timing by using either of an electromotive force quantity detection mode and an timing detection mode and a selection unit to select either of the electromotive force quantity detection mode and the timing detection mode for detecting the valve closing timing, and the selection unit: selects the timing detection mode when a requested injection quantity is larger than a prescribed reference injection quantity in partial lift injection; and selects the electromotive force quantity detection mode when the requested injection quantity is smaller than the reference injection quantity.

A valve (or fuel injector), which provides that the valve-seat member exhibits high structural strength and fatigue strength under vibratory stresses, includes an excitable actuator for actuating a valve-closing member which, with a valve-seat face on the valve-seat member, forms a sealing seat, and injection openings which are downstream of the valve-seat face, the injection openings being in a center area of the valve-seat member projecting outwardly dome-like in the injection direction. The dome-like center area has a curved outer contour, the curvature in a radially inner section having a larger radius than the radius of the curvature in a radially outer section of the dome, which ends radially outside the mouth areas of all injection openings, in a recessed depression, that is followed radially outwardly by an axially projecting edge area of the valve-seat member. The fuel injector directly injects fuel into a combustion chamber of an engine.

An injection hole has an injection hole passage communicating an inner opening with an outer opening. The inner opening is smaller than the outer opening in cross-sectional area. The needle moves in a valve closing direction to abut against a valve seat to restrict a flow of fuel through the injection hole. A first inner wall of the injection hole is located on a valve closing direction side relative to an injection hole axis. A second inner wall of the injection hole is located on an opposite side of the injection hole axis from the valve closing direction side. The injection hole passage is defined by the first inner wall and the second inner wall.

Fuel injection valve with resin-covered terminal-lead wire

The present invention includes a bobbin having a winding part around which a coil winding is wound, a terminal extending from the bobbin in the axial direction of the bobbin, and a wrapping part which is provided to the terminal and in which a terminal lead wire pulled out from a coil part that is wound around the winding part is wrapped and fused. The terminal lead wire wired between the bobbin and the wrapping part in a state of being in contact with the surface of the terminal. The peripheries of the bobbin, the wiring part of the terminal lead wire and the wrapping part are covered with resin.

Fuel Injection Valve With A Weld Ring

The present disclosure relates to internal combustion engines. Various embodiments thereof may include a fuel injection valve for a combustion engine comprising: a valve body with a cavity; a valve needle movable in the cavity; an actuator assembly to actuate the valve needle. The actuator assembly includes an electro-magnetic coil, a pole piece positioned inside the cavity, and an armature element. The armature element moves within the cavity to move the valve needle in a predetermined direction. A fixing ring abutting the pole piece, fixed to the valve body by means of joining to a circumferential surface of the cavity.

Fuel injection control apparatus

A drive current applied to a coil is reduced from a time at which a first collision signal indicating collision of a movable core with a valve element is input to a time at which a second collision signal indicating collision of the movable core with a stationary core is input.

In a valve apparatus, a housing includes a plurality of through holes through which a fluid flows. A first valve member opens and closes a first through hole. A second valve member opens and closes at least one second through hole. A fixed core does not move relative to the housing. A coil forms magnetic field. A first movable core moves integrally with the first valve member. When the coil forms the magnetic field, a magnetic attractive force is generated between the first movable core and the fixed core. A second movable core moves integrally with the second valve member. When the coil forms the magnetic field, a magnetic attractive force is generated between the second movable core and the fixed core. A magnetic constriction portion is provided between the fixed core and the first movable core. The second through hole is opened after the first through hole is opened.

Fuel Pump Solenoid Assembly Method

A solenoid assembly of a fuel pump is disclosed, including a housing having an open end and a partly closed end; a pole piece fixedly disposed within the housing; a bobbin assembly disposed within the housing and including a coil disposed proximal to the pole piece; and a bobbin retainer disposed between the open end of the housing and the bobbin assembly, a radially outer surface of the bobbin retainer contacting the housing. A portion of the housing which is adjacent the bobbin retainer has an outer surface that is recessed and an inner surface that protrudes against the bobbin retainer. The portion is created by deforming the housing to create the protrusion on the inner surface of the housing. The housing inner surface protrusion provides a press fit engagement with the bobbin retainer.
