The invention relates to a fuel injection nozzle for use in an internal combustion engine, having a nozzle body (1), in which is formed a pressure chamber (2) fillable with fuel under high pressure and in which a longitudinally displaceable nozzle needle (4) is arranged, wherein the nozzle needle (4) has a sealing face (5) with which it interacts with a conical body seat (7) formed in the nozzle body (1) and thereby opens and closes the connection from the pressure chamber (2) to a blind hole (10). The blind hole (10) forms a cylindrical section (12) directly adjoining the body seat (7) so that an inlet edge (11) is formed at the transition between the body seat (7) and the blind hole (10). In the nozzle body (1) is formed at least one injection opening (14) which opens into the blind hole (10). The cylindrical section of the blind hole (10) has a reduced diameter so that a shoulder (16) is formed in the blind hole (10), wherein the at least one injection opening (14) opens into the blind hole (10) between the shoulder (16) and the inlet edge (11).

A valve body has a seat surface swollen toward a seating surface of an injection hole body having an injection hole. A fuel passage is between the injection hole body and the valve body and is opened and closed due to separation and seating of the seat surface. In a seat portion throttle state, a flow rate of injected fuel is throttled by a gap between the seat surface and the seating surface. In an injection hole throttle state, the flow rate of fuel is throttled by the injection hole. When the valve body is operated from a valve closing position to a full lift position, the seat portion throttle state is brought from the valve closing position to a predetermined intermediate position, and the injection hole throttle state is brought from the intermediate position to the full lift position.

Fuel-injection metering device, fuel-injection nozzle, mould for producing a fuel-injection metering device and method for producing a fuel-injection metering device

The present application concerns a fuel-injection metering device for a motor vehicle. The fuel-injection device include a main body with at least one through-hole, whereby the main body forms a valve seat on its inner face that is provided to interact with a valve body, whereby the inner face of the main body is electrochemically machined. The application also concerns a mould, a production method, and a fuel-injection nozzle.

FUEL INJECTION VALVE

This fuel injection valve is provided with: a valve seat (15b) and a valve body (27c), which cooperate to open and close a fuel passage; a valve seat member (15) having formed thereon the valve seat (15b) and a guide surface (15c) which guides the valve body (27c); and a cylindrical body (5) having the valve seat member (15) press-fitted in the front end-side end thereof. The valve seat member (15) is configured so that the press-fit section (15f) thereof which is press-fitted in the cylindrical body (5) is provided at a position offset toward the base end of the cylindrical body (5) relative to both the valve seat (15b) and the guide surface (15c) in the direction of the center axis (1x) of the fuel injection valve.

FUEL INJECTION VALVE

Disclosed is a fuel injection valve in which a movable core and a fixed core are enclosed in a cylindrical body. The cylindrical body has an annular groove formed therein, on an outer circumferential side of a region in which the movable core and the fixed core are opposed to each other, to define a thin portion of small wall thickness. In a cross section taken along a center axis of the fuel injection valve, the thin portion has curved line sections on both end sides thereof in a direction along the center axis such that the curved line sections respectively connect a bottom of the annular groove to side edges of the annular groove by curved lines. The curved line sections are provided over a range of larger dimension, from the respective side edges in the direction along the center axis, than a depth dimension of the annular groove.
