A fuel injection system for fuel metering may include an injection nozzle, which includes a nozzle body, a nozzle needle, and a nozzle orifice, wherein nozzle needle is disposed in the nozzle body; a control piston configured to mechanically and electrically contact the nozzle needle in an axial direction opposite to the nozzle orifice; a transmitter configured to communicate with a controller and electrically contact the nozzle needle via the control piston; wherein the controller is configured to determine an open state and a closed state between the nozzle needle and the nozzle body via an electrical signal detected by the transmitter; and wherein the controller is configured to adjust the open state and the closed state in correlation with a fuel injection quantity.
PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE SYSTEM
Various methods and systems are provided for a pressure relief valve of a fuel system. In one example, a valve includes a first chamber in fluid communication with a first fuel line, a second chamber in fluid communication with a second fuel line and in fluid communication with a fuel storage tank, a piston separating the first chamber from the second chamber, and a needle coupled to the piston and controlling a flow passage between the second fuel line and the second chamber, where the piston and needle are sized such that a force applied on the piston by the first chamber parallel to an axis of movement of the piston maintains the needle in a closed position when the first fuel line flows fuel at a first pressure and the second fuel line flows fuel at a second pressure, the second pressure greater than the first pressure.
DUAL-FUEL FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
A dual-fuel fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine has a liquid fuel injection branch and a gas fuel injection branch, in which a gas injector assembly that is controllable via a control fluid is situated. The liquid fuel forms the control fluid of the gas injector assembly.
Pressure relief valve systems
FUEL INJECTION DEVICE
The pressing part includes an abutment part capable of being in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the pressing passage, and a depressed opposite part that is opposed to the exhaust port at a position away from the exhaust port in a perpendicular direction perpendicular to the displacement direction due to an outer peripheral surface of the pressing part recessed from the abutment part even when the abutment part is in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the pressing passage. When the abutment part is in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the pressing passage, a depression dimension of the depressed opposite part relative to the abutment part is set, such that an amount of fuel discharged from the valve chest is defined by the exhaust throttle part instead of a gap between the depressed opposite part and the inner peripheral surface of the pressing passage.
FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM, FUEL INJECTION METHOD AND AUTOMOBILE
HIGH-PRESSURE PLUNGER PUMP AND METHOD FOR THE FUNCTIONAL INTERRUPTION OF A FLUID FLOW
A high pressure plunger pump, having at least one plunger arrangement which comprises a working space connected to a valve seat suction line and a valve seat pressure line, in which a plunger is arranged in an axially reciprocable manner, wherein the valve seat pressure line is closeable by a pressure valve and the valve seat suction line by a suction valve, and the suction valve can be kept in an open position in a controlled manner as required by means of a counter-pressure device, is designed so that the counter-pressure device has a supply line via which a control fluid can be guided to the suction valve for keeping the suction valve open, wherein a low-pressure pump is connected to the supply line for generating pressure of the control fluid.
Fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines
The fuel injection valve has a hydraulic control device for controlling the axial movement of the injection valve member. The stem of the intermediate valve member of mushroom-shaped configuration of the intermediate valve is guided in the guide recess of the intermediate part. In the open position, the intermediate valve member opens up a second connection between a high-pressure fuel inlet and a valve chamber and, in the closed position, the intermediate valve member shuts off the second connection between the high-pressure fuel inlet and the valve chamber. In the closed position of the intermediate valve member, the head of the intermediate valve member lies with a side facing toward the intermediate part against the intermediate valve seat via a first sealing surface, which runs around the stem or the guide recess at a first radial spacing so as to form a first annular sealing surface which is continuous in the circumferential direction.
Fuel injection valve
A high-pressure-side valve portion makes contact with and moves from a high-pressure seat surface formed in a body to control communication between a control chamber communication passage and a high-pressure passage. A low-pressure-side valve portion makes contact with and moves from a low-pressure seat surface formed in the body to control communication between an exhaust passage and a second intermediate chamber. A releasing portion in the high-pressure-side valve portion communicates with the control chamber communication passage when the high-pressure seat surface is in contact with the high-pressure-side valve portion to block the control chamber communication passage from the high-pressure passage. A valve element internal passage is formed in the valve element to communicate the releasing portion with the second intermediate chamber.
