Valve assembly having electrical actuator with balanced stator
A valve assembly for a pump includes an electrical actuator having a stator and an armature. The stator includes an annular outer stator portion and an annular inner stator portion, and an annular channel formed radially between the outer stator portion and the inner stator portion. A first radial channel extending through the annular outer stator portion between an outer surface of the outer stator portion and the annular channel, and at least one second opening in the annular outer stator portion results in magnetic symmetry of the stator. Upon activating the electrical actuator, the attraction of the armature towards the stator is uniform thus displacing fluid between the stator and armature in a uniform manner and to avoid high velocity, potentially damaging fluid flow.
Fuel pressure regulator
A fuel pressure regulator includes a fuel inlet; a fuel outlet; a seating surface; and a valve member assembly. The valve member assembly includes a poppet and also includes a sealing member which is made of an elastomer material and which is annular in shape and including a sealing member surface. The sealing member is supported by the poppet. The valve member assembly is moveable between 1) a closed position in which the sealing member surface engages the seating surface, thereby preventing fuel flow from the fuel inlet to the fuel outlet and 2) an open position in which the sealing member surface is spaced apart from the seating surface, thereby allowing fuel flow from the fuel inlet to the fuel outlet.
ELECTROMAGNETIC FUEL INJECTION VALVE
In an electromagnetic fuel injection valve, a plurality of recess parts are provided in an attracted face of a movable core, the recess parts dividing a taper face of the movable core into a plurality of sections along a peripheral direction of the movable core. Accordingly, a fuel oil film present in an engaged part between an annular projection of a fixed core and the taper face is sectioned at a plurality of locations, thereby suppressing a sticking phenomenon of the engaged part caused by the fuel oil film. Therefore, when energization of a coil is cut off, a delay in detachment of the movable core from the fixed core is eliminated, thus contributing to improvement of valve-closing responsiveness.
Fuel injection valve
A valve body has a seat surface swollen toward a seating surface of an injection hole body having an injection hole. A fuel passage is between the injection hole body and the valve body and is opened and closed due to separation and seating of the seat surface. In a seat portion throttle state, a flow rate of injected fuel is throttled by a gap between the seat surface and the seating surface. In an injection hole throttle state, the flow rate of fuel is throttled by the injection hole. When the valve body is operated from a valve closing position to a full lift position, the seat portion throttle state is brought from the valve closing position to a predetermined intermediate position, and the injection hole throttle state is brought from the intermediate position to the full lift position.
Metering valve for a pump unit for feeding fuel to internal combustion engine and pump unit comprising such a valve
A metering valve for a pump unit for feeding fuel from a tank to an internal combustion engine; the metering valve having: a sleeve having an axis A and provided with a first open end for receiving a thruster, a second opposite end provided with an opening for axially discharging the fuel and at least one side opening for feeding fuel; a plug-shaped piston housed slidably along the axis A inside the sleeve, the piston being provided with a closed end having an outer surface in contact with the thruster, an open opposite end and at least one side opening; a plug housed inside the discharge opening of the sleeve and provided with an axial opening; a spring arranged between the plug and the inner surface of the closed end of the sleeve.
VALVE OF A FUEL INJECTOR
The present invention relates to a valve of a fuel injector for selectively disconnecting a high pressure region from a low pressure region of a fuel, comprising an opening in a seat plate, an armature which is designed to close the opening of the seat plate, a spring element which prestresses the armature in the direction of a position which closes the opening, and an electromagnet for lifting the armature out of the position which closes the opening into a position which releases the opening, characterized by an elastically compressible damping element for limiting an armature stroke in the case of the armature being lifted from the seat plate into the releasing position.
Inlet control valve for high pressure fuel pump
The disclosed inlet check valve is used in a high pressure fuel pump and is comprised of a valve member integrally connected to a valve stem which is coupled to an inlet valve armature. The valve member has a stroke along an axis between an open position and a closed position. An inlet valve solenoid generates a magnetic field in an inlet valve pole to attract the inlet valve armature and move the valve member from the open position to the closed position. In the open position, the valve member contacts an inlet valve stop and a gap greater than the stroke of the valve member is defined along the axis between the inlet valve armature and the inlet valve pole. In the closed position, an inlet valve seat mates with the valve member and an armature gap remains between the inlet valve armature and the inlet valve pole.
Vehicle fuel injector
A vehicle fuel injector is configured to inject a high-pressure vehicle fuel received from a fuel rail into a combustion chamber. The vehicle fuel injector includes a nozzle which includes a plurality of discharge flow paths which are disposed to be spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction and pass through the nozzle in a longitudinal direction, and outward flow paths formed on an inner circumferential surface of the nozzle, the nozzle having a hollow shape, and a needle bar which is formed to pass through the inner circumferential surface of the nozzle and vertically reciprocally moves on the inner circumferential surface of the nozzle, where rotation of the needle bar is adjusted in a left or right direction so that the nozzle is opened or closed.
Fuel injection valve
A fuel injection valve includes: a circular plate portion that is abuttable against an end surface of a needle opposite from a valve seat while the needle being provided to open and close an injection hole upon lifting and seating of the needle relative to the valve seat; and a tubular portion that extends from the circular plate portion toward the valve seat and has an end part, which is opposite from the circular plate portion and is abuttable against a movable core second contact surface of a movable core opposite from the valve seat. In a state where the circular plate portion abuts against the needle, and the tubular portion abuts against the movable core, a gap is formed between a flange member end surface of a flange of the needle and a movable core first contact surface of the movable core opposite from the valve seat.
