HIGH PRESSURE PUMP
A valve seat member, which partitions between a supply passage and a pressurizing chamber, includes an inner flow path, which communicates between the supply passage and the pressurizing chamber, and an outer flow path, which is placed on a radially outer side of the inner flow path. An inner valve is seatable against an inner valve seat formed in an opening of the inner flow path. An outer valve is contactable with an end surface of the inner valve, which is opposite from the inner valve seat. The outer valve is seatable against an outer valve seat, which is formed in an opening of the outer flow path.
Fuel injection valve
In a fuel injection valve used in an internal combustion engine, fuel spray travel distance is shortened. There is provided a fuel injection valve including a seat member, in which the seat member includes a conical seat surface that seats fuel by coming in contact with a valve body, and inlet opening portions of a plurality of fuel injection holes on the conical seat surface, and is configured such that an axis of the injection hole connecting the centers of an inlet and an outlet of the fuel injection hole is along a plurality of different conical surfaces, and in which, in an outlet section that is configured of a plane parallel to an inlet section of the inlet opening portion of the fuel injection hole and is positioned at the outlet of the fuel injection hole, the seat member includes the injection hole in which a major axis direction of an ellipse of the outlet section has an inclination angle of greater than 0 degrees with respect to a straight line in a fuel injection direction, which is obtained by projecting the axis of the injection hole on the outlet section, and an inclination angle of a degree before being perpendicular to the straight line in the fuel injection direction.
VALVE DEVICE AND HIGH PRESSURE PUMP USING THE SAME
A valve seat has an inner passage and outer passages. A suction valve member has first passages and a first projection portion that guides, to the first passages, the fuel that flows from a pressure chamber at the time of valve opening. Therefore, an action force by the dynamic pressure applied to the suction valve member in the valve closing direction is reduced. An action force by the pressure of fuel that flows into pressure equalization grooves counterbalances the action force by the dynamic pressure of the suction valve member. Therefore, self-closing by the dynamic pressure can be inhibited, and the maximum output of an electromagnetic driving unit can be reduced. Fuel flow through a passage radially outside the suction valve member and the firs passages. A fluid passage area is securable even when a lift amount of the suction valve member is small.
TWO STAGE VALVE WITH CONICAL SEAT FOR FLOW SHUT-OFF AND SPOOL KNIFE EDGE FOR METERING FLOW CONTROL
A valve (100) comprises a barrel (104) having a central bore (110), an inlet (112), and an outlet (114, 116), and a spool (120) disposed for motion within the central bore, including a ball tip (128), a metering edge (130), and a bore (132). The spool is moveable between a closed position, wherein the ball tip engages a seat (142) to prevent fluid flow through the inlet and the metering edge is disposed in a lower chamber (148) of the central bore to prevent the fluid flow through the outlet, and an opened position, wherein the tip is spaced apart from the seat to permit fluid flow through the inlet and the spool bore into an upper chamber (154) of the central bore to equalize pressure on the spool, and the metering edge is disposed in a flow path of the outlet to permit fluid flow through the outlet.
Fuel injection valve
A fuel injection valve realizing improved circumferential uniformity of swirling fuel is provided. The fuel injection valve includes a swirling chamber having an inner peripheral wall whose curvature is gradually larger from upstream to downstream, a path for swirling which, having a fuel flow-in region formed along a valve axis direction, guides fuel to the swirling chamber, and a fuel injection orifice open into the swirling chamber. In the fuel injection valve, the path for swirling is inclined toward the fuel injection orifice formed on a downstream side of the swirling chamber.
FUEL INJECTOR AND VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR PROVIDING FUEL TO A PRIME MOVER
A fuel injector for is provided that includes a valve assembly in a passage of an injector body. The valve assembly includes a plunger and a valve seat that is sealingly engageable by the plunger. The plunger is longitudinally positioned in the injector body so that an inlet into the injector body upstream of the valve seat is partially open while the plunger is sealingly engaged to the valve seat. The plunger is longitudinally displaced in the passage to open a flow path through the valve seat while progressively increasing the opening size of the flow path and the inlet.
