An apparatus is for collecting and transporting bales. The apparatus includes a transport assembly and a grasping assembly operatively connected thereto. The transport assembly includes a bale loading platform extending above and mounted to a chassis. The bale loading platform comprises at least one bale conveying section in including a bale conveying mechanism. The grasping assembly includes a mechanical arm having a prehension end effector engageable with the bales. The grasping assembly is configurable between a bale engagement configuration for engaging a corresponding one of the bales laying on the ground, a bale capture configuration for capturing and lifting the corresponding one of the bales off the ground and a bale release configuration for releasing the corresponding one of the bales onto the bale loading platform and comprises a movement absorption mechanism operative to substantially cancel the forward displacement of the apparatus during the capture of the bales.

The present invention relates to a bale pick-up device for picking up of at least one round bale from a round baler, comprising a coupling device with at least one coupling frame element to be fixedly arranged on a machine frame of the round baler and at least one drawbar element extending in a pick-up direction at least partially between the coupling frame element and a machine frame of the bale pick-up device and mounted in such a way on the coupling device that it is pivotably movable relative to the coupling frame element at least about a vertical axis perpendicular to a contact surface of the bale pick-up device at least in a first position of the coupling device, wherein a guide element mounted on the coupling device and pivotably movable relative to the drawbar element at least about the vertical axis and extending in the pick-up direction in such a way that the drawbar element is arranged at least partially between the transfer element and the contact surface in a side view. The present invention moreover relates to a vehicle combination with a round baler and such a bale pick-up device.

An apparatus, system and method for transporting bales is described. A system for transporting bales includes a hauling truck, a trailer pivotably coupled to the hauling truck by a gooseneck, the trailer comprising telescoping arches, wherein the telescoping arches move a cradle between a loading position, wherein tubular elongate skids slide into a space between a round bale and a ground in the loading position, and a transport position, wherein an angled portion of the tubular elongate skids lift the bale off the ground in the transport position, and wherein the gooseneck pivots the trailer to a driver's side of the hauling truck in the loading position, and wherein the hauling truck loads the bale while moving forward.

A towed implement for use with a work machine includes a main frame having a pivot hole and at least one hitch mounting hole. A hitch frame is coupled with the main frame and includes a towed end. The hitch frame is pivotable relative to the main frame about a pivot axis at the pivot hole. The hitch frame includes a chamber having an interior periphery with a plurality of notches. A height adjustment arrangement is associated with the main frame and the hitch frame for adjusting a height of the hitch frame. The height adjustment arrangement includes a stop key positioned within the chamber of the hitch frame. The stop key has a hole arranged for receiving a fastener associated with the at least one hitch mounting hole, a cam surface, and at least one tooth extending from the cam surface. Each tooth is received in a corresponding notch.

A trailer having a deck and a flip-over ramp. The deck and one side of the flip-over ramp are convertible from a flat position to a position with cradles that are configured to hold one or more round hay bales. The deck may tilt, and side rails may cooperate to form the cradle region. The flip over ramp may also pivot about a horizontal axis to form a pathway from a ground surface to the deck. Side rails may pivot both about a horizontal axis, and about a vertical axis near the flip-over ramp to allow clearance when the ramp is deployed.

A towed implement for use with a work machine includes a main frame having a pivot hole and at least one hitch mounting hole. A hitch frame is coupled with the main frame and includes a towed end. The hitch frame is pivotable relative to the main frame about a pivot axis at the pivot hole. The hitch frame includes a chamber having an interior periphery with a plurality of notches spaced about the interior periphery. A height adjustment arrangement is associated with the main frame and the hitch frame for adjusting a height of the hitch frame. The height adjustment arrangement includes a stop key positioned within the chamber of the hitch frame. The stop key has a hole arranged for receiving a fastener associated with the at least one hitch mounting hole, a cam surface, and at least one tooth extending from the cam surface. Each tooth is received in a corresponding notch of the interior periphery.

A bale collection system for use with a baler having an outlet through which a finished bale is ejected, the bale collection system including a holder coupled to the baler, the holder defining a support surface configured to support the finished bale, an operating barrier, and a holdback arm in operable communication with the holder and configured to 1) permit the finished bale to pass through the operating barrier in a first direction and 2) restrict movement of the finished bale through the operating barrier in a second direction, opposite the first direction.

A hydraulic bale trailer comprising: a frame, where the frame is elongate and has a long axis; an axle caddy, where the frame is connected to the axle caddy such that the frame is capable of tilting on its long axis; a lock assembly connected to the axle caddy such that the lock assembly is capable of preventing the frame from tilting when the lock assembly is in an engaged position; and a hydraulic assembly with a first end and a second end, where the first end is connected to the frame and the second end is connected to the axle caddy and where the hydraulic assembly is capable of releasing the lock assembly from the engaged position to a disengaged position, allowing the frame to tilt.

A crop-package transfer system has a flexible member supported by a support frame and is configured to support a crop package on a first side of the flexible member. A motive member is disposed on a second side of the flexible member. An actuator device is configured to move the motive member along the second side of the flexible member, such that the motive member transmits motive force from the actuator device to the crop package via the flexible member.
