REMOTE STARTUP CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD IN CONSIDERATION OF OPERATIONAL STATE OF PARKING BRAKE
A remote startup control device and method in consideration of an operational state of a parking brake is disclosed. The remote startup control device includes an air processing device for supplying compressed air to a parking brake chamber, a relay valve for controlling an air line connecting the air processing device to the parking brake chamber, and a control unit for determining whether to permit remote startup based on whether an input switch and an output switch of the relay valve are in an activated state.
COORDINATING NON-DEMAND ENGINE START AND STOP WITH GEAR SHIFT
A control strategy is provided for a hybrid vehicle that will increase drivability during low or decreasing driver demands. Coordination between shifting the transmission and stopping or (non-demand) starting of the engine can increase drivability. The vehicle includes a motor/generator with one side selectively coupled to the engine and another side selectively coupled to the transmission. The control strategy acts when an engine start or stop is requested while driver demand is decreasing and a shift of the transmission is demanded. To inhibit these events from proceeding simultaneously, the control strategy delays the engine from starting or stopping until the transmission has finished shifting, or vice versa.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A DRIVE DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE AND CORRESPONDING DRIVE DEVICE
A method for operating a drive device for a motor vehicle includes: during a coasting operation of the motor vehicle in which a shifting clutch is open and the internal combustion engine stands still starting the internal combustion engine in a first operating mode with the electric machine and in a second operating mode by at least partially closing the shifting clutch with a coupling torque set at the shifting clutch, thereby operatively connecting the internal combustion engine with at least one wheel, wherein the internal combustion engine is started in the first operating mode when a predictively determined wheel slip predictive value exceeds a wheel slip setpoint value, and wherein when the internal combustion engine is started in the second operating mode the electric machine is used for starting the internal combustion engine and for driving the at least one wheel when a wheel slip actual value exceeds the wheel slip setpoint value.
Methods and system for starting an engine
Systems and methods for operating a driveline of a hybrid powertrain that includes a motor/generator and driveline disconnect clutch are described. The systems and methods may adjust a torque capacity of the driveline disconnect clutch during engine starting. Torque output from the motor/generator may also be adjusted during engine starting.
Engine starting control device for a vehicle with manual transmission
An engine start control system includes a manual transmission, an upper switch, a lower switch, and an engine start control unit. The upper switch detects a pedal depression start operation by detecting a resting foot state from a foot released state. The lower switch detects a pedal depression terminating operation when the clutch pedal is depressed to an end position. The engine start control unit is configured to start the engine from a stopped state when signals of the upper switch indicates the pedal depression start operation and of the lower switch indicates the pedal depression terminating operation, and the engine start control unit being configured to prohibit starting of the engine, when the signal of the upper switch indicates switching from the foot released state to the pedal depression start operation, in response to detection of the signal of the lower switch indicating the pedal depression terminating operation.
Apparatus and method for preventing sudden start of automatic transmission vehicle
A method for preventing a sudden start of an automatic transmission vehicle includes detecting data for determining whether a sudden start condition is satisfied; determining whether a shift stage is an N stage or a P stage when an engine runs. Whether the sudden start condition is satisfied is determined based on the data when the shift stage is the N stage or the P stage when the engine runs. An engine torque is limited below a predetermined torque, and a brake is operated when the sudden start condition is satisfied.
Work vehicle
A work vehicle includes a shift operation tool to operate a shift position of a transmission device; an engine control unit to start an engine based on a start command from a start operation tool and an operation state of the shift operation tool; a neutral position detector to detect the shift operation tool being at a neutral position and output a neutral position signal; an operation displacement amount detector to detect an operation displacement amount of the shift operation tool and output an operation displacement amount signal; a first safety confirmation section to confirm a first safe state in response to the neutral position signal; and a second safety confirmation section to confirm a second safe state based on the operation displacement amount. The engine control unit starts the engine in response to the start command received with the first safe state and the second safe state being confirmed.
