Coupling Device For Transmitting Torque From A Gyrating Mass To A Drive Device And Corresponding Method
A coupling device for transmitting a torque from a flywheel mass to a drive device. A ratchet wheel and a transmission element of the flywheel mass ‘SUE’, which is identical to the flywheel mass (or is connected to the flywheel mass, are axially displaceable relative to one another, and pawls of the ratchet wheel can be moved into cutouts of the SUE, and a friction device, particularly in the form of a friction cone, is connectable to the SUE at least partially in a frictionally engaging manner and is connected to the ratchet wheel in a positively engaging manner.
Starting device for starting a combustion engine and handheld work apparatus having said starting device
A starting device for a combustion engine includes a housing relative to which a rope pulley, a spring housing and an entrainer can rotate about a rotation axis. A coupling unit produces a rotationally-fixed connection between the rope pulley and the spring housing in response to a rotational movement of the rope pulley in a starting direction. The spring housing has a spring receiving space for a tension spring and is connected to an entrainer by the spring. The coupling unit has a first coupling element and a second coupling element, which interact at a contact location which is at a spacing (d) to the rotation axis and is at least as large as the maximum spacing (c) of the tension spring to the rotation axis.
Rocker pinion starter
Methods and systems are provided for starting a vehicle engine. In one example, an engine starter system for starting the vehicle engine may comprise a ring gear coupled to an engine crankshaft, and a pinion gear coupled to a starter motor, the pinion gear having rotatable rocker elements for engaging the ring gear. In this way, the pinion gear may be engaged with the ring gear to transmit torque from the starter motor to the engine crankshaft to quickly start the engine.
POWER TRANSMITTING DEVICE WITH DYNAMO- ELECTRIC MACHINE
A power transmitting apparatus with rotary electrical machine disposed in a power transmission path from an output shaft of an internal combustion engine to a transmission in a vehicle is disclosed. The power transmitting apparatus includes a rotary electrical machine disposed coaxially with the output shaft, and a transmission apparatus disposed adjacent to the power transmitting apparatus and the rotary electrical machine. The transmission apparatus is configured to mechanically switch at least two power transmission paths having different reduction ratios between one of an outer shell of the power transmitting apparatus and a synchronous rotation member that rotates synchronously with the outer shell and a rotor of the rotary electrical machine
ELECTRIC TOOL FOR FACILITATING STARTING OF ENGINE
A system and method of an electric tool (100) for facilitating starting of an engine, comprising a tool bit (102) having a bit portion (102A) arranged to engage with a rotatable component of a starter module of the engine, and a transmission mechanism (112) arranged to transfer a rotational movement provided by a motor (104) housed within a casing (110) of the electric tool to the bit portion, wherein the motor is arranged to be powered by a power source connected thereto, and wherein the rotational movement provided by the motor is transferred to the rotatable component of the starter module via the transmission mechanism only if the bit portion is engaged with the rotatable component.

The coupling unit has a first coupling element and a second coupling element, which interact at a contact location which is at a spacing (d) to the rotation axis and is at least as large as the maximum spacing (c) of the tension spring to the rotation axis.
Internal combustion engine and garden tool
An internal combustion engine includes an engine block including a cylinder, a piston positioned within the cylinder, a crankshaft configured to be driven by the piston, a fuel supply system for supplying an air-fuel mixture to the cylinder, an ignition system, an electric starting system including a starter motor, and an ultracapacitor mounted on the engine, the ultracapacitor configured to power the starter motor to start the engine. A related garden tool is also disclosed.
Recoil starter and engine
A recoil starter (103) includes a pull rope reel (22), a ratchet wheel (31), a pulley (32), a ratchet pawl (33), and an outer wall (32e). The ratchet pawl (33) is capable of swinging between an engaged position where the ratchet pawl engages with a protruding part (31a) and a disengaged position where the ratchet pawl does not engage with the protruding part, and is always urged toward the engaged position. A support surface (32d) of the outer wall (32e) supports the base end portion of the ratchet pawl (33) when the ratchet pawl (33) is in the engaged position. The internal space of the pulley (32) and the external space of the pulley (32) are communicate with each other through the foreign matter discharge portion (32f) of the outer wall (32e).
