Device for generating hydroelectric energy
A device for generating hydroelectric energy, using the swell of a mass of water, said device containing an impeller which is rotatable around a shaft and at least one electric generator group, the drive shaft of which is coupled at least in one direction of rotation in a torque transmitting manner to the impeller shaft, whereby the device is provided with a floating casing which contains two compartments which are partly filled with fluid and which via a passage are fluidly connected with each other, whereby the device furthermore contains an air-filled caisson, which has an open bottom and opens out to said passage and whereby in said caisson the impeller is rotatably mounted around a shaft which extends perpendicular to the direction of the passage and whereby the impeller is partly mounted in the air-filled space of the caisson and partly in the fluid in the passage.
HYDROELECTRIC POWER GENERATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present invention is a hydroelectric power generating system having a siphon component, a generator component, and an electronics and control component, which produces an inflow of water caused by a vacuum initially created within the system and further aided by hydrostatic pressure. The inflow is directed to a ramp where it drives a water turbine located within the respective electrical generating system to produce electrical power.

Gyrating wave power plant
A gyrating wave power plant, comprising a body (1) floating on water with a main plane which in calm water is substantially vertical. The body is moored in an orientation with the main plane transverse to the propagation direction of waves. The body has its upper and lower sections provided with arched fins (2, 3). The fins (2) in the body's upper section curve downward when proceeding towards side edges of the body, and the fins (3) in the body's lower section curve upward when proceeding towards side edges of the body. The arched shape of the fins (2, 3) is an oval-shaped spiral with respect to a lateral swaying axis (A) of the body, which is perpendicular to the main plane.
Carpet of wave energy conversion (CWEC)
A carpet of wave energy conversion (CWEC) device mechanically couples an absorber carpet to one or more energy converters, thereby allowing for wave energy extraction from passing waves. The absorber carpet may be flexible material of a composite material that has a low elastic modulus in a longitudinal direction (to allow for stretching), and a relatively higher elastic modulus in a transverse direction (to better couple energy from wave to converters). Such designs have minimal wave reflections and high efficiencies within a relatively short extent of deployment. The resultant converted useful energy is available as either: 1) mechanical power including direct desalinization or electrical production; or 2) hydraulic power for a number of applications (including hydraulically powered motors supplying power to powered devices including generators), or pumping of the wave medium under pressure to an alternate location for irrigation or energy storage.
APPLICATIONS OF OCEAN WAVE ENERGY CONVERTORS
A system for production of desalinated water includes a wave energy convertor for conversion of mechanical energy from ocean waves into electricity and mechanical energy in the form of a salt-water stream. The system further includes a desalination unit coupled to the wave energy convertor. The system further includes an electrical connection from the wave energy convertor to the desalination unit, configured to supply the electricity to the desalination unit. The system further includes a conduit to supply the salt-water stream produced by the wave energy convertor to the desalination unit, wherein the desalination unit is configured to produce desalinated water.

Vortical wind turbine/ umbrella wave turbine system
This invention relates to a voluminous wind/wave turbine system, the turbine system has two wind/wave subsystems and is based on a unique volume process and optimized blades defining two power zones to harness wind and wave energy together or separately beyond the Betz limit, the vortical wind turbine subsystem has a pair of a front and back vortical blades to generate more power with satellite generators, the wave subsystem is a breakthrough for commercial applications and has a robust float vessel with toroid or polygonal pipes structure and multiple hinge mechanisms to hold multiple wave turbines against violent wave, the wave turbine has only a conversion to produce electricity constantly 24/7 with 360 degree freedom, the both subsystems are based on a shaft-less twin rotor turbomachinery and represent a new era of reliable and renewable energy at an unprecedented level of efficiency and the reliability.
