Bale Forming System and Method with a Foldable Bale Carrier
A bale forming system and method including a bale forming apparatus that forms a round bale in a bale forming chamber. The formed bale is ejected out of the bale forming chamber and drops onto a bale carrier. The bale carrier with the bale is moved away from the bale forming apparatus. The bale on the bale carrier is positioned on a bale carrier bottom and between two guiding sheets. The guiding sheets can be folded together and unfolded such that their vertical dimensions are varied. The guiding sheets are unfolded when the bale carrier is moved into the bale depositing position.
Bale Wrapping Apparatus
A bale wrapping apparatus configurable between a single bale wrapping configuration and an inline bale wrapping configuration. The bale wrapping apparatus comprises a bale wrapping support assembly including support rollers spaced apart from one another to drive a bale in rotation along a rotation axis, when the bale wrapping apparatus is configured in the single bale wrapping configuration; and a longitudinal bale support configurable between an extended configuration where it extends above the support rollers and a retracted configuration where it extends away from the support rollers. The longitudinal bale support is positioned in the retracted configuration when the bale wrapping apparatus is configured in the single bale wrapping configuration and is configured in the extended configuration when the bale wrapping apparatus is configured in the inline bale wrapping configuration.
BALER FOR HARVESTED AGRICULTURAL MATERIAL
The present invention relates to a round baler for harvested agricultural material, which round baler forms a pressing chamber for pressing a round bale, comprising a wrapping device for wrapping the pressed round bale with a sheathing material and comprising a transfer device, which is configured to form a transfer segment, via which the pressed round bale can be transferred in a transfer direction from the pressing chamber to the wrapping device, and comprising at least one transfer segment device, which, at least in a first position, forms at least a predominant first part of the transfer segment, wherein the transfer device comprises a transfer drive element, which, to drive the pressed round bale to the wrapping device, is mounted movably relative to the transfer segment device at least proportionally in the transfer direction in at least one drive position, in which position the transfer segment device is arranged at least partially between the transfer drive element and a ground contact plane of the round baler. The present invention further relates to a method of operating a round baler.
Bale wrapper and a combined baler/bale wrapper
A combined baler/bale wrapper (1) comprises a baler (10) mounted on a chassis (5) and a bale wrapper (14) mounted on the chassis (5) rearwardly of the baler (10) for wrapping a bale formed by the baler (10). The bale wrapper (14) comprises a pair of first and second bale support rollers (50,51) for supporting and rotating the bale about a first wrapping axis (56). A pair of wrapping film dispensers (60) are carried on a carrier ring (58) which is rotated about a second wrapping axis (61) for dispensing wrapping film onto the bale (2) as the bale (2) is being rotated by the first and second bale support rollers (50,51). The first bale support roller (50) is carried on a transfer element (16) so that as the transfer element (16) is pivoted about a transfer pivot axis (17) from a first state to a second state for transferring the bale (2) onto the bale wrapper (14) the first bale support roller (50) is urged in a downwardly direction (F) in order to maximise the headroom available to the bale (2) as the bale (2) is being transferred by the transfer element (16) to the bale wrapper (14).
Crop-package transfer system
A crop-package transfer system has a flexible member supported by a support frame and is configured to support a crop package on a first side of the flexible member. A motive member is disposed on a second side of the flexible member. An actuator device is configured to move the motive member along the second side of the flexible member, such that the motive member transmits motive force from the actuator device to the crop package via the flexible member.
BALER-WRAPPER COMBINATION WITH A MOVEABLE BALE SUPPORT AND BALE FORMING AND WRAPPING METHOD USING SUCH A COMBINATION
A baler-wrapper combination includes a bale forming device and at least one wrapping device with a bale support. The bale support being in the bale depositing position has a lateral offset to a vertical center plane of the bale forming device and is entirely positioned on one side of the vertical plane. A bale is moved on the bale support being in the bale receiving position and is wrapped. The wrapped bale is deposited from the bale support being in the bale depositing position on the ground.
WRAP MATERIAL TRANSFER DEVICE
A transfer device includes an arm that has a first end and a second end. The transfer device includes a pivot positioned at the first end of the arm. The pivot is configured to be secured to a baling machine. The transfer device includes a lifting device positioned on the arm. The lifting device is configured to be attached to a bale wrap material supply roll.
MACHINE FOR FORMING AND WRAPPING SQUARE BALES
A combination baling and wrapping machine is provided to enclose harvested material in a protective layer to eliminate or minimize spoilage. The machine includes a bale forming station or compartment with vertical and horizontal compactors to form the bales, and a downstream wrapping station with a first zone for wrapping the bale in a first direction and a second zone for wrapping the bale in a transverse direction, such that the bale is completely enclosed by the wrap material. The machine can be operated while moving through a field or while sitting in a stationery position.
Continuous bale forming apparatus with a rotating bale pushing device
A bale forming apparatus and a bale forming method form cylindrical bales. A bale forming chamber is surrounded by a bale forming mechanism. A bale is formed in this bale forming chamber. This bale is pushed onto a bale supporting construction. This bale supporting construction buffers the bale. A further bale is created in the bale forming chamber. One pushing member pushes the old bale from the bale forming chamber onto the bale supporting construction. This pushing member is connected with a holding device and performs a movement on a circular path for pushing the bale. The drive rotates the holding device around a rotating axis. A pivotal guiding member is pivoted into a guiding position and contributes to provide a bale forming chamber for the new bale.
Round baler with bale wrapper
A round baler with a bale wrapper is described wherein the bale wrapper includes a bale wrapping unit rotating about a vertical axis of rotation and having rotation arms which extend parallel to the axis of rotation and which support reels of wrapping material guided within an action region of the bale wrapping unit extending transversely and longitudinally to the axis of rotation, wherein a delimiting rod linkage is arranged on the round baler or on the bale wrapper and extends at the back of the round baler and is capable of pivoting from an upper position into a lower position and vice versa, and with which in the lower position an area of the action region of the bale wrapping unit placed at the back of the round baler is demarcated horizontally.
