COTTON BALER
The invention uses a new system which cuts and unlocks a wrapping material (PE film) for cotton in a continuous manner in cotton harvesting, and a new method in production of such film. The film consists of many segments that make many bales of cotton. The film is separated with perforation by laser or other methods. A double sided adhesive is used to glue the bale at the end of it, which is covered by a folded bridge. The bridge connects both ends of the segments of the film. When perforated film is torn at a signal by the harvest machine, the bridge is unfolded as a leading edge for the next segment after a brief bridge linkage of both segments. The way of folding the bridge is key part of the invention, which accurately uncovers the end adhesive for the new bale and reduces the problem of tangling of the film at the time of separation.
SILAGE FILM, WRAPPED FODDER, AND STORAGE METHOD OF FODDER
A silage film having at least one layer of a resin composition containing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and a hydroxy group-containing compound (B). In the resin composition containing the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and the hydroxy group-containing compound (B), the hydroxy group-containing compound (B) has a molecular weight of less than or equal to 200, a ratio of number of hydroxy groups per molecule to the molecular weight ranging from 0.02 to 0.03, and a melting point of greater than or equal to 23° C., and a content of the hydroxy group-containing compound (B) in the resin composition ranging from 3% to 15% by mass. The silage film has excellent oxygen barrier property and stretchability (suitability for wrapping) and can be suitably used for long-term storage of silage.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MARKING AND IDENTIFYING BALED CROP
A method for storing information corresponding to a baled crop during a baling process includes providing a harvesting machine including a control unit, a sensor, and a bale tag reader. The method also includes forming the baled crop with a bale tag by the harvesting machine, identifying the baled crop by the control unit with a bale identifier, and sensing a characteristic of the baled crop by the sensor. The method further includes detecting a bale tag identifier associated with the bale tag by the bale tag reader, communicating the characteristic and bale tag identifier to the control unit, corresponding the characteristic, bale tag identifier and bale identifier of the baled crop to one another, and storing the characteristic, bale tag identifier and bale identifier in an electronic storage unit that is in electrical communication with the control unit.
SHEETING FOR COVERING AN OBJECT
Combination of plastic sheeting for covering an object, such as silage, with at least two layers of sheeting, comprising a first folded sheet and a second folded sheet, wherein the second sheet is folded into said first sheet and wherein said second sheet is at least partially enclosed by said first sheet and wherein the sheets have first and second lateral edges, wherein seen in a cross section, at least the first lateral edges of the two sheets extend in close proximity to each other in the folded combination of sheets.
Wrapping device, blocking device, baler and method for adjustment of a baler to a wrapping material
A wrapping device for wrapping a bale with a wrapping material for a baler includes a separating device having a knife arrangement and a blocking device. The separating device is movable between at least one wrapping means separating position and an inactive position. The blocking device prevents the separating device from being moved into the wrapping means separating position.
PACKAGING ROLL FILM AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
Packaging roll films and preparation methods thereof are provided. A first transparent adhesive tape layer may be capable of covering a second high-adhesion layer such that the problem caused by the exposed second high-adhesion layer may be solved. The adhesive film and the non-adhesive film may not need to completely cover the second high-adhesion layer during the process. When the roll film is unrolled for packaging an item, the rolling drum may stop rotating at the end of a cycle of the previous packaging section; the item may continue to rotate due to inertia and thereby generate a tension force at the position where a previous packaging section and a latter packaging section are connected. A parting layer may be parted from the second high-adhesion layer, allowing the non-adhesive film on the latter packaging section to be unrolled, and enabling the adhesive film of the previous section to continue wrapping.

WRAPPING MATERIAL FOR REDUCED CONTAMINATION
In one embodiment, a wrapping material for wrapping around an agricultural product to form a bale, including a continuous web of material including a plurality of wrapping units, each wrapping unit having a first surface and an opposing second surface, and extending lengthwise from a leading end to a tail end, the tail end of each wrapping unit terminating at the leading end of an adjacent wrapping unit. Each wrapping unit includes a nontacky portion extending lengthwise from the leading end of the wrapping unit, and having a length greater than a circumference of the bale, and a tacky portion extending lengthwise from the nontacky portion to the tail end of the wrapping unit, and having a length greater than the circumference of the bale.
NET WRAP ROLL WITH LIFT HOOK LOCATION MARKINGS
A supply roll for a wrap system of a baler implement includes a core having a circumferential wall surface forming a cylindrical shape concentric with a central longitudinal axis. A wrap material includes a length wound about the circumferential wall surface of the core, and defines an exterior circumference. The core and the wrap material cooperate to define a combined center of gravity. An axial position identifier is disposed on the exterior circumference of the wrap material, and is positioned relative to the combined center of gravity to define a desired lift location.
Machine direction oriented films comprising multimodal copolymer of ethylene and at least two alpha-olefin comonomers
A machine direction oriented film comprising a multimodal copolymer of ethylene and at least two alpha-olefin-comonomers having: a) a density of from 906 to 925 kg/m.sup.3 determined according to ISO 1183, b) an MFR.sub.21 of 10-200 g/10 min determined according to ISO1133, wherein the multimodal copolymer of ethylene comprises c) a first copolymer of ethylene and a first alpha-olefin comonomer having 4 to 10 carbon atoms; and d) a second copolymer of ethylene having an alpha-olefin comonomer different from the first copolymer, said second alpha-olefin comonomer having 6 to 10 carbon atoms.
