Hydraulic brake for wrap material
A bale wrap tensioning system includes a spindle that can be operatively coupled to a wrap material supply roll and a rotary hydraulic device that has a rotatable input shaft. The input shaft is coupled to the spindle for rotation with the wrap material supply roll. The bale wrap tensioning system includes a control valve that is operable to control a variable pressure of hydraulic fluid displaced by the rotary hydraulic device. The bale wrap tensioning system includes a controller for adjusting the control valve to alter the variable pressure of the hydraulic fluid displaced by the rotary hydraulic device.
Method and Device for Wrapping and Tagging of Round Bales
Method and device for tagging round bales during wrapping in plastic foil, using a stationary or mobile baler-wrapper. Each round bale is oriented with the circular end surfaces mainly vertically and layers of plastic foil is wrapped around the round bale by foil wrapping arms. At a point in time where at least one layer of plastic film remains to be wrapped, each round bale is tagged with an ID tag having an adhesive back-side surface, using a time controlled, pivotal tagging arm provided with a tag transferring member. The movement of said tagging arm is controlled by a computer, which synchronizes the movement of the tagging arm with the movement of the foil supplying arms. After tagging, at least one additional layer of plastic is wrapped around each round bale to protect the ID tag.

An agricultural baler system having a direction of travel and adapted to compile a windrow of crop into a bale, the agricultural baler system having a baler assembly coupled to the work machine and configured to consolidate crop from the underlying windrow into the bale, the baler assembly implementing a wrapping process to maintain the form of the bale and an eject process for ejecting the bale, and a windrow diverter selectively positionable between a divert position and a bypass position. Wherein, when the windrow diverter is in the divert position, the underlying windrow is repositioned as the baler assembly moves in the direction of travel.

Wrapping apparatus and method with a security mechanism and a drive blocking mechanism
An apparatus and method for wrapping an object. The object is on an object support. A wrapping unit drive rotates a wrapping unit part with a holder for wrapping material around the object. A barrier in a protecting position provides a mechanical safety mechanism. When the barrier is moved into a further position, an interrupter is moved into an interrupting position and interrupts a supply connection for the wrapping unit drive. Thereby the wrapping unit part is no longer rotated.
Material wrap system with automatic drive tension compensation
A system for wrapping a material in a baler includes a feed element for feeding the material through a feed path. A drive element intermittently drives the feed element. A linking element couples the drive element with the feed element. A tensioning lever operates to vary tension on the linking element to intermittently drive or not drive the feed element. A knife mechanism operates to intersect the feed path to cut the material. An actuator is engageable with the tensioning lever and with the knife mechanism. The actuator operates to move the tensioning lever and the knife mechanism independent of one another.
A METHOD FOR OPERATING A ROUND BALER AND A ROUND BALER
The present disclosure refers to a method for operating a round baler. The method comprises providing a nonstop baler type machine; controlling a feeding mechanism for feeding of crop into a prechamber and a main bale forming chamber by a control system of the baler; in a feeding operation, feeding the crop through a first feeding channel into the prechamber; and switching the feeding operation by the control system, thereby, stopping feeding the crop into the prechamber and starting feeding the crop through a second feeding channel into a main bale forming chamber of the baler. The control system is configured to switch the feeding operation in response to a binding material parameter reaching a predetermined parameter value, the binding material provided for wrapping a bale formed in the main bale forming chamber. Furthermore, a round baler is disclosed.
METHOD TO OPTIMIZE THE DENSITY OF THE BALE ON A ROUND BALER
A round baler includes a baling chamber and a press means mounted within the baling chamber. A first sensor is disposed within the baler for sensing data related to a change in a diameter of a bale being formed in the baling chamber. A second sensor is configured to detect data related to a speed of the press means, such as a rotational speed of a drive shaft. The data related to the change of the diameter of the bale and the data related to the speed of the press means after each rotation of the bale are processed to determine a thickness of a layer of the crop material in the bale. The thickness is indicated in a display unit for an operator to view.
A METHOD FOR OPERATING A ROUND BALER AND A ROUND BALER
The present disclosure relates to a method for operating a round baler. The method comprises providing a nonstop baler type machine; feeding of crop into a prechamber and a main bale forming chamber; and providing, by a binding unit, a binding material to the main bale forming chamber for wrapping a bale formed in the main bale forming chamber, comprising, in a first mode of operation, providing a stretching apparatus in contact with the binding material, thereby, applying a compressive force to the binding material for stretching the binding material; and in a second mode of operation, providing the stretching apparatus free of contact with the binding material. Furthermore, a round baler is disclosed.
BALE WRAPPING APPARATUS
A baling apparatus including a bale forming chamber in which an agricultural bale is formed, wrapped and subsequently released. The baling apparatus also includes a support extending adjacent the bale forming chamber, the support incorporating a plurality of sensors arranged upon the support, wherein the sensors are adapted to measure a surface property of at least one surface of the bale. Since the surface property of an unwrapped bale will differ from the surface property of a wrapped bale, the baling apparatus can detect whether the wrapping material is sufficiently wrapped around the formed bale to release of the bale without the bale falling apart.
