The fluid routing plug is installed within a horizontal bore formed in a fluid end section and is configured to route fluid throughout the fluid end section.

PUMP UNIT FOR FEEDING FUEL, PREFERABLY DIESEL FUEL, TO AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

A pump unit for feeding fuel, preferably diesel fuel, to an internal combustion engine; the pump unit (1) comprising: a head (4) inside which a cylinder (12) extending along an axis (A1) is formed; a pumping piston (5) extending along the axis (A1) and slidingly coupled with the cylinder (12); a through-hole (13) which extends from the cylinder (12) towards the outside of the pump unit (1); an intake chamber (8) communicating with the cylinder (12) via the hole (13); an intake valve (7) which controls the flow of fuel from the intake chamber (8) to the hole (13); a cap (23; 123; 223) which is connected to the head (4), is arranged on the opposite side to the pumping piston (5) and can be selectively fixed along an outer surface (25) of the head (4) so as to close the intake chamber (8) on one side.

FLUID ROUTING PLUG

A fluid routing plug for use with a fluid end section. The fluid end section being one of a plurality of fluid end sections making up a fluid end side of a high pressure pump. The fluid routing plug is installed within a horizontal bore formed in a fluid end section and is configured to route fluid between an intake and discharge bore. The fluid routing plug comprises a plurality of first and second fluid passages. The first and second passages do not intersect and are offset from one another. The first fluid passages are configured to direct fluid delivered to the horizontal bore from intake bores towards a reciprocating plunger. The second fluid passages are configured to direct fluid pressurized by the plunger towards a discharge bore.

Fuel pump for a direct injection system

Fuel pump for a direct injection system provided with a common rail. The fuel pump has a pumping chamber defined in a main body; a piston which is mounted in a sliding manner inside the pumping chamber to cyclically vary the volume of the pumping chamber; an intake channel which originates from a wall of the pumping chamber; an intake valve which is coupled to the intake channel; a delivery channel which originates from a wall of the pumping chamber; a delivery valve which is coupled to the delivery channel; and an actuating spring which has a plurality of turns having a pitch that varies between the turns and that is coupled to the piston so as to push the piston towards a maximum volume or minimum volume position of the pumping chamber.

A control device for a fuel injection system includes a CPU which generates a drive signal for instructing execution of compression by a feel pump; a fuel pump drive circuit which controls application of electric power to a solenoid of the feel pump based on the drive signal; a boost circuit provided with a capacitor for storing electric power to be used for driving an injector; a charging circuit which leads a current generated when the application of electric power to the solenoid is stopped to the capacitor; and an excess electric power consumption circuit which consumes excess electric power of the capacitor. While feel injection from the injector is stopped, the CPU counts the number of times the feel pump is driven and turns off the drive signal so as to stop driving the feel pump as soon as the drive count has exceeded a predetermined count value.

An injector generator for use in geomechanical pumped storage systems includes a power end and a fluid end. The fluid end has one or more fluid chambers each having a fluid inlet and outlet that are controlled by rotary valves. The fluid end can function as a pump or as a motor driven by fluid pressure from the geomechanical storage formation.

PUMP WITH VALVE WITH MOVEABLE VALVE MEMBER

A pump assembly includes a power end, a fluid end, and a valve assembly located in the fluid end. The valve assembly includes a valve seat and a valve member including a valve body connected to a valve stem and reciprocatable during operation to engage the valve seat. The valve member is moveable during operation such that the orientation of the valve body relative to the valve seat is adjustable.

Valve seats for use in fracturing pumps

A valve seat at least partially formed of a ceramic material for use in a fracturing pump includes a first body and a second body. The first body is configured to be inserted into a fluid passageway of the fracturing pump. The first body has an outer diameter, D1. The second body extends radially from the first body and has an outer diameter, D2, greater than the outer diameter, D1, of the first body. The second body is at least partially formed of the ceramic material.

Fluid End

A fluid end comprising a plurality of fluid end sections positioned in a side-by-side relationship. Each fluid end section is releasably attached to a connect plate. Each connect plate is attached to a power source using a plurality of stay rods. Each fluid end section comprises a housing in fluid communication with a pair of intake manifolds and a discharge conduit. A fluid routing plug is installed within each housing and is configured to route fluid throughout the housing. A plunger is installed within stuffing box attached to each housing. A number of features, including the location of seals within bore walls and carbide inserts within valve guides, aid in reducing or transferring wear.
