Piston Pump

A reciprocating pump, in particular a hydraulic pump of a slip-controlled vehicle braking system, includes a step piston, a differential pressure valve, and a pump outlet. The step piston includes a piston step that delimits a stepped space which is in communication with the pump outlet via the differential pressure valve. The piston step is configured such that the step space undergoes suction and displacement in a direction opposite to a displacement space, and in smaller quantities than suction and displacement in the displacement space, such that brake fluid volume flow in the pump outlet is evened out, and such that pressure pulsations are inhibited.

HIGH PRESSURE PUMP FOR COMPLEX INJECTION ENGINES

A high pressure pump for complex injection engines is provided. A body of the high pressure pump includes a first flow path that transports the low pressure fuel flowing in through the low pressure fuel inlet and a low pressure fuel storage chamber that is disposed in a lower portion of the body to store the low pressure fuel transported from the first flow path. A second flow path transports the low pressure fuel stored in the low pressure fuel storage chamber and a flow control valve is disposed over the low pressure fuel storage chamber to discharge the low pressure fuel, transported through the second flow path, to the pressure unit or the damper disposed in an upper portion of the body based on an opening or closing operation. A low pressure fuel outlet discharges the low pressure fuel, transported through the damper, to a low pressure fuel rail.

A high-pressure fuel pump includes a drive shaft, and a vane pump and a plunger pump which are driven by the drive shaft. The vane pump is configured to supply pre-pressurized fuel to the plunger pump. The drive shaft includes a cam configured to drive a piston rod of the plunger pump such that the plunger pump alternately executes a fuel suction stroke and a fuel discharge stroke. The drive shaft further includes a shaft portion for driving a rotor of the vane pump. The vane pump is configured such that for each fuel suction stroke of the plunger pump the vane pump provides a fuel supply cycle that is advanced by a phase angle relative to the fuel suction stroke.

A fuel pump includes a cylinder that forms a compression chamber which pressurizes a fuel, a plunger that compresses the fuel in the compression chamber, a cam that pushes the plunger, and a driven gear that engages a driving gear to transmit a rotational driving force. A profile of the cam is configured such that a peak arrival range is half or less of a compression range. Cam speed is obtained by differentiating a lift amount of the plunger by a rotation angle of the cam, the compression range is an angle range during which the plunger is pushed in the direction of compressing the fuel, and the peak arrival range is an angle range from a start of the compression range until a most retarded position of a peak of the cam speed.

A pump is provided with: a pump body having a pump chamber defined therein; a plunger reciprocating in response to the rotation of an eccentric cam, thereby feeding fuel sucked in the pump chamber to an injector; and an input portion to which rotational torque from the outside is applied. The input portion is provided with the eccentric earn coupled to a joint member connected to a rotating member; a boss section for rotatably supporting the joint member; and a bush for restricting the axial movement of the joint member.

A diaphragm pump comprising a housing for receiving and securely holding a motor, the housing comprising an elongate portion having a closed end and an open end, the elongate portion being adapted to securely receive and house a motor; and a collar portion being provided at the open end of the elongate portion; a cover for the housing, the cover being adapted to engage with the housing; a diaphragm plate extending across the open end of the housing between the collar portion of the housing and the cover and being secured therebetween when the cover is engaged with the collar portion of the housing. The diaphragm pump also includes a wobble plate positioned within the collar portion of the housing.

Exemplary embodiments of energy efficient foam pumps and dispensers are disclosed herein. An exemplary foam dispenser included a housing, a reservoir for holding a foamable liquid, a motor, a motor shaft, and a turbine air pump. The turbine air pump is connected to the motor shaft. A cam is also attached to the motor shaft and is used for driving a liquid pump. Liquid from the liquid pump and air from the turbine air pump are mixed in a mixing chamber and dispensed through an outlet nozzle. The touch-free foam dispenser further includes a sensor for sensing an object, circuitry for receiving a signal from the sensor indicative of an object being present and circuitry for energizing the motor to dispense fluid in the form of a foam.
