A transfer pump includes a drive module having electronic components and a fluid module not including electronic components. The drive module provides motive power to a pump of the fluid module to power pumping by the fluid module. The drive module is movably mounted to the fluid module at dynamic and static interfaces to power reciprocation of a pumping component of the fluid module by the dynamic interface and such the drive module supports the fluid module at the static interface.

A motor control system to drive an alternating-current (AC) motor, including a motor drive with a power circuit and a motor drive controller powered by the power circuit and configured to cause the power circuit to generate a motor voltage; a motor drive contactor having first contacts electrically connected between the power circuit and the AC motor; a bypass contactor having second contacts electrically connected between a line voltage source and the AC motor; and a bypass controller communicatively coupled with the motor drive contactor and the bypass contractor; wherein the motor drive controller is structured to generate a speed reference and to command the bypass controller to connect the AC motor to the line voltage source upon the motor drive controller determining that the speed reference is substantially equal to a line frequency of the line voltage source.

A plurality of diffuser vanes may be disposed in the diffuser housing interior of the diffuser housing. At least one pump extension may include a pump extension housing with a pump extension housing intake end disposed in fluid communication with the diffuser housing outlet end of the diffuser housing, a pump extension housing outlet end and a pump extension housing interior extending from the pump extension housing intake end to the pump extension housing outlet end. Methods of pumping a liquid from an area to be drained to a discharge area are also disclosed.

Systems and methods for monitoring operation of a sump pump are provided. A method includes connecting a power adapter to the sump pump and a float-switch. The power adapter includes a controller positioned within a housing, prongs in communication with components coupled to the controller, a first receptacle and a second receptacle. The controller is configured to establish a wireless connection to a first wireless network, and transmit a message to a remote server over the first wireless network. The controller is further configured to determine a power status of a float switch and control the pump based on power status of the float switch.

Systems and methods for monitoring operation of a sump pump are provided. A method includes connecting a power adapter to the sump pump and a float-switch. The power adapter includes a printed circuit board (PCB) positioned within a housing, a power supply in electrical communication with components coupled to the PCB, and an integrated chip coupled to the PCB. The integrated chip is configured to establish a wireless connection to a first wireless network, and transmit a message to a remote server over the first wireless network. The method further includes causing an internet enabled device to send one or more instructions that causes the power adapter to connect to the first wireless network, and receiving, using the internet enabled device, a message from the remote server.
