BELT AS CONTINUOUS TRACTION MEANS FOR CONVEYOR BELTS OF BALING PRESSES OR BALE WRAPPERS
The present disclosure relates to a belt as a continuous traction means for conveyor belts of bale presses, comprising at least one fabric layer embedded at least in certain regions in a polymer layer, for creating a continuous belt reinforced by at least one fabric layer.
The present disclosure provide that cross-stiffening elements are embedded in the polymer layer, for increasing a transverse rigidity of the belt, whereby the cross-stiffening elements are essentially oriented in a transverse direction of the belt, and the belt exhibits, at least in the region of the cross-stiffening elements, a ratio of rigidity between the transverse rigidity and a longitudinal rigidity of at least 2:1.
ROUND BALER WITH MOVABLE FOLLOWER ROLLS
A bale chamber of an agricultural round baler. The bale chamber includes a main frame, a plurality of rollers, and at least one belt engaging with at least one roller of the plurality of rollers. The at least one belt and the plurality of rollers are together configured for creating a round circulating chamber. The bale chamber also includes a subframe movably connected to the main frame and at least one follower roller pivotally connected to the subframe at a first pivot axis. The at least one follower roller engages with the at least one belt. The subframe is configured for moving during formation of the bale so that the at least one follower roller moves in between a first position at the empty bale position of the circulating chamber and a second position at the full bale position of the circulating chamber.
Continuous round baler and methods of using the same
A crop harvesting system for continuous round baling is described that comprises a first and second bale chamber and a conveyor system in operable communication with the first and second bale chambers. The crop harvesting system can comprise a first bale chamber comprising a variable shape, defined by a first serpentine system comprising one or a plurality of endless belts in operable contact with one or a plurality of movable rollers to facilitate movement of the bale out of the first and into the second bale chamber. The second bale chamber comprises a fixed shape defined by a plurality of stationary rolls operably attached to a second set belt or belts. The crop harvesting system can be integrated into an agricultural harvester such as a baler or combine.
BUILD-UP RESISTANT CROP CONVEYOR SYSTEMS FOR AGRICULTURAL MACHINES
Crop conveyor systems having an enhanced resistance to crop material build-up and suitable for usage in agricultural machines, such as round balers, include a conveyor belt run extending along a primary direction of belt travel, as well as a runner assembly adjacent the conveyor belt run. The runner assembly includes, in turn, elongated runners extending substantially parallel to the primary direction of belt travel and spaced along a lateral axis perpendicular to the primary direction of belt travel. Belt guide surfaces are provided on the elongated runners and face the conveyor belt run. The belt guide surfaces have convex surface regions in a first section plane parallel to the lateral axis and perpendicular to the primary direction of belt travel. The convex surface regions increase conformity between the belt guide surfaces and the conveyor belt run to reduce crop build-up on the elongated runners during usage of the build-up resistant crop conveyor system.
Agricultural baler including crop package banding system and method
A banding system for an agricultural baler is configured to move a banding element around a crop package to band the crop package. The banding system includes a support member having a support surface configured to support the crop package. The support member includes a channel defined by an opening in the support surface. The channel is further defined by a first surface opposite a second surface and a third surface extending between the first and second surfaces. The first surface at least partially defines an angled surface tapering toward the second surface such that an apex of the angled surface partially forms the opening. The banding system also includes a bander unit configured to move a banding element within the channel to band the crop package.
The first surface is at least partially defined by an angled surface angled relative to the second surface. The angled surface includes an apex positioned away from the opening. The banding system also includes a bander unit configured to move the banding element within the channel to band the crop package.
Repair, conversion or retrofit kit for a round baler
A repair, conversion or retrofit kit includes at least two continuously closable replacement baler belts which correspond substantially in their combined width to the width of a continuously closed baler belt to be replaced. The replacement baler belts may be closable in a force-fitting and/or form-fitting manner by a connecting means, and the connecting means may be at least partially hook connectors. In some embodiments, the repair, conversion or retrofit kit further includes at least one guide means arranged on the round baler such that at least two replacement baler belts each extend laterally with respect to the at least one guide means, and the at least two replacement baler belts are guided laterally with respect to one another. In some cases, the guide means is an auxiliary guide disk arranged on a rotatable shaft of the round baler.
