Linear compressor
Provided is a linear compressor. The linear compressor includes a piston, a cylinder, and a bearing inflow passage. The bearing inflow passage includes a first bearing inflow passage extending inward from an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder in the radial direction and a second bearing inflow passage extending from the first bearing inflow passage to an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. The second bearing inflow passage extends from the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder in a circumferential direction.
Oil lubricated compressor
An oil lubricated compressor having a universal motor, efficient starting and re-starting characteristics, and a long operating life. The oil lubricated compressor can have a brushed or brushless universal motor which can drive a cooling fan and a pump. The universal motor can achieve a high torque to voltage ratio, as well as a high torque to current ratio, upon starting or re-starting of the compressor. Optionally, the oil lubricated compressor can use a single cooling fan disposed in the compressor at a location which is between the universal motor and a cylinder head of the pump.

The compressor includes a piston having formed therein a suction space, in which refrigerant gas is sucked; and a cylinder in which a piston is accommodated, the cylinder defining a compression space that is configured, based on the piston reciprocating in an axial direction, to compress the refrigerant gas therein. A plurality of grooves having a partial spherical shape and having a diameter of 10 micrometers is formed in an outer circumferential surface of the piston or an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder.

Compressor system with variable blowdown control
A compressor system is disclosed with at least one fluid compressor for compressing a working fluid. At least one separator tank is structured to receive compressed working fluid from the compressor and separate air and lubricating fluid from the working fluid. A lubrication supply conduit is fluidly coupled between the separator tank and at least one compressor for supplying lubrication from the separator tank to the compressor. A blowdown pressure control valve is fluidly coupled to the separator tank. A controller is connected to the blowdown pressure control valve to control a pressure in the separator tank to a predetermined pressure at a compressor operating condition.
LINEAR COMPRESSOR WITH OIL SPLASH SHIELD
A linear compressor includes a housing defining a sump for collecting a lubricant and a suction inlet for receiving a flow of refrigerant into the housing. A pump circulates the lubricant within the housing, e.g., for lubricating a piston that is movable along the axial direction to compress the flow of refrigerant. A flex mount is coupled to the piston and defines a channel inlet for receiving the flow of refrigerant. A splash shield is positioned within the housing between the channel inlet and a pump inlet along the vertical direction, e.g., to prevent oil entrainment into the flow of refrigerant.
CRANKSHAFT
A crankshaft (1) for a refrigerant compressor, the crankshaft (1) at least comprising a cylindrical shaft element (2), a crankpin (3) for driving a compressor piston of the refrigerant compressor, and means for conveying lubricant from a lower end region (4), facing away from the crankpin (3), of the shaft element (2) in the direction of the crankpin (3), in order to supply lubricant to movable parts of the refrigerant compressor, wherein at least one surface section of a surface of the crankshaft (1) comprises at least one flow disruptor, which flow disruptor is, based on the geometry and/or characteristics thereof, configured to break up vapor bubbles and/or gas bubbles in the lubricant flowing around the crankshaft (1) in an operating state of the refrigerant compressor.
