DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING A SPROCKET OF A CHAIN DRIVE
A sprocket adjuster for adjusting a sprocket of a chain drive includes a bearing journal, which includes a free end and a fixed end, a rotary bearing arranged on the bearing journal, and a sprocket guided on the rotary bearing. The bearing journal has a first external thread region and a second external thread region, wherein a threaded nut is arranged on each of the external thread regions and by means of which the rotary bearing is clamped on the bearing journal between the external thread regions.
Net guide for upper rollers of round baler
A round baler includes a first roller and a second roller that define a gap therebetween and are arranged to position forming belts immediately adjacent to a baling chamber. A third roller is arranged to position the forming belts radially outward of the baling chamber. The forming belts move along a belt path in sequence from the first roller, to the third roller, and then to the second roller, such that the baling chamber is not bounded by the forming belts in the gap between the first roller and the second roller. A net guide is radially supported by both the first roller and the second roller and laterally positioned between an adjacent pair of the forming belts. The net guide extends across the gap to guide a net material across the gap and prevent the net material from following the forming belts away from the baling chamber.
Baler with a moveable roller
A baler for forming a bale of crop material includes a plurality of walls defining a bale chamber. A drive roller and a plurality of idler rollers are disposed in the bale chamber. At least one baling belt contacts the drive roller and the plurality of idler rollers. A bale engagement roller is rotatable about a bale engagement roller axis. The bale engagement roller is positioned to directly engage crop material in the bale chamber. An actuator is coupled to the bale engagement roller. The actuator translates the bale engagement roller in a direction perpendicular to the bale engagement roller axis.
Agricultural baler including a bale chamber with a low traction rotary compression element
A baler apparatus has a cylindrical bale-forming chamber defined by a set of compression elements positioned around the circumference of the bale-forming chamber, and drive means configured to drive rotary movement of the compression elements. At least one of the rotary compression elements is configured to provide a reduced level of traction relative to a bale in the bale chamber, as compared to at least the majority of the other rotary compression elements.
CROP STOP FOR BALE ROLL
A bale roll includes a roll body, one protrusion, and crop stop apparatus. The roll body extends along a central longitudinal axis between a first roll end and a second roll end. Each of the first and second roll ends is operably rotatably coupled to a respective one of side walls of the baler. The roll body defines an exterior circumferential surface extending between the first and the second roll ends along the central longitudinal axis. The protrusion extends from the exterior circumferential surface at least partially between the first roll end and the second roll end. The crop stop apparatus is disposed adjacent to one of the first or second roll end on the roll body. The crop stop apparatus is operable to limit crop movement axially along the central longitudinal axis beyond one of the first or second roll end relative to a center of the roll body.
Agricultural baler with segmented roll
A roll for an agricultural baler includes: a cylinder including an outer cylindrical surface and an interior space, the cylinder being at least partially formed by a first end segment and a second end segment held together, the first end segment and the second end segment each having a respective interior wall with a wall opening in the interior space; a connector placed in each wall opening and bearing against the respective interior walls of the first end segment and the second end segment to hold the first end segment and the second end segment together; and a plurality of loops extending from the outer cylindrical surface.
Split roller configuration for a round module builder or round baler
A round bale or module building assembly with a frame having a first wall and a second wall separated from one another by a module width and a plurality of rollers positioned between the first wall and the second wall, the plurality of rollers defining at least one belt path. Wherein, at least two rollers of the plurality of rollers have a combined width configured to substantially span the module width.
Feed system cap for agricultural baler
A baler having a frame, a feed system coupled to the frame, a baling chamber for receiving crop from the feed system, and a plunger assembly reciprocally compressing the crop. The baling chamber defines an extrusion axis therethrough. The plunger assembly is at least partially positioned within and movable with respect to the baling chamber. The plunger assembly has at least a first plunger motion aligned with the extrusion axis. The baler also includes a feed system cap having at least a first cap motion aligned with the extrusion axis, the first cap motion being synchronized with the first plunger motion. At least one of the plunger assembly and the feed system cap has a second motion that is not aligned with the extrusion axis.
AGRICULTURAL BALER WITH ROLLS HAVING OVERLAPPING EXTENSIONS
A roll assembly, which may be included in an agricultural baler, includes: a first roll having a first roll surface with a plurality of first extensions extending therefrom, the first extensions defining a first rotation path when rotated; and a second roll having a second roll surface with a plurality of second extensions extending therefrom, the second extensions defining a second rotation path when rotated. The first roll and the second roll are disposed adjacent to one another such that the first rotation path and the second rotation path partially overlap. At least one roll driver is coupled to at least one of the first roll or the second roll and configured to rotate the first roll and the second roll in the rotation direction such that the first extensions and the second extensions do not collide with each other during rotation of the first roll and the second roll.
