A linear compressor is provided that may include a shell in which a discharge port is provided, a cylinder disposed in the shell to define a compression space for a refrigerant, a piston disposed to be reciprocated in an axial direction within the cylinder, a discharge valve disposed on or at one side of the cylinder to selectively discharge the refrigerant compressed in the compression space, the discharge valve including an insertion protrusion, and a valve spring coupled to the discharge valve to provide a restoring force to the discharge valve. The valve spring may include a spring body having a central portion defined at a portion corresponding to a center of the cylinder, and an insertion hole defined in the spring body. The insertion hole may be coupled to the insertion protrusion of the discharge valve. The central portion of the spring body may be spaced apart from a central portion of the insertion hole.

A valve plate (1) made of fiber-reinforced plastic for gas exchange valves for reciprocating piston compressors comprises at least two concentric sealing rings (3) which cooperate with corresponding sealing surfaces (4) at the valve seal (5) by way of profiled sealing surface (2) and that are connected by way of radial webs (6). In order to improve the flexibility of the valve plate (1) and the sealing behavior, the webs (6) are designed thinner along the entire radial extent thereof between the sealing rings (3) on both sides of the valve plate (1) compared to the adjacent thickness of the sealing rings (3).

An improved pressure relieving valve assembly is disclosed, together with an inflatable support assembly incorporating the pressure relieving valve assembly. The pressure relieving assembly comprises a valve body having a valve inlet and a valve outlet, and a valve chamber fluidly coupled with the valve inlet and the valve outlet. A plunger is disposed within the chamber and arranged to move within the valve chamber to selectively open and close a passageway through the chamber between the valve inlet and the valve outlet. Embodiments are disclosed in which the assembly further comprises audible and/or visual indicators for indicating whether the passageway is open or closed, for assisting a user when inflating an inflatable support member to an optimum pressure.

The head module for the air compressor includes a crankshaft configured to receive power from the outside so as to rotate, a piston assembly including a connecting rod coupled to the crankshaft and a piston configured to reciprocate by the connecting rod, a crank body in which the crankshaft is accommodated, a cylinder assembly which is coupled to the crank body to communicate with the crank body and in which the piston is disposed, a valve unit accommodated in the cylinder assembly and configured to be opened and closed according to the reciprocating motion of the piston, a filtration filter coupled to the cylinder assembly and configured to filter air introduced into the cylinder assembly, and a cooling fan coupled to the crankshaft and disposed on an end of the crank body to rotate by the crankshaft so that unfiltered air is introduced into the crank body.
