Single piece valve plate assembly for a reciprocating compressor, the valve plate assembly including a valve plate and a suction valve retainer that are integrally formed as a unitary body
A valve plate assembly for a compressor according to the principles of the present disclosure includes a valve plate and a suction valve retainer. The valve plate is configured to separate suction-pressure working fluid entering a cylinder of the compressor from discharge-pressure working fluid exiting the cylinder of the compressor. The valve plate defines a discharge valve seat. The suction valve retainer is configured to retain a suction valve within a suction valve seat disposed about a central longitudinal axis of the cylinder.
Scroll compressor and refrigeration cycle apparatus
A scroll compressor includes: a shell; a compression mechanism unit accommodated in the shell and defining a compression chamber, the compression mechanism unit having a discharge port through which a discharge chamber and the compression chamber communicate with one another; a discharge valve mechanism that opens and closes the discharge port. The discharge valve mechanism includes a valve seat provided on an outlet portion of the discharge port and a valve and closes the valve seat when sitting on the valve seat. The valve seat includes an annular portion serving as an edge of an opening of the outlet portion and a valve supporting portion that is provided in a region surrounded by the inner circumference of the annular portion and divides the opening of the outlet portion into plural valve seat holes. The valve is in contact with at least a portion of the valve supporting portion and with the annular portion, when sitting on the valve seat.
Swash plate compressor
A swash plate compressor including a cylinder block accommodating a piston for compressing a refrigerant, a front housing coupled to the front of the cylinder block and having a crank chamber, a rear housing having a suction chamber and a discharge chamber and coupled to the rear of the cylinder block. The swash plate compressor includes a valve assembly with a valve plate inserted into the rear housing, a gasket in the cylinder block, a suction plate between the valve plate and the cylinder block, a variable orifice module having a first orifice hole for refrigerant passing, a second orifice hole communicating with the suction chamber to discharge the refrigerant passing through the first orifice hole to the suction chamber, and an intermediate passage connecting the orifice holes, the first orifice hole having a variable reed, a degree of opening of which is varied depending on the refrigerant pressure.
Cylinder Head Assembly For A Reciprocating Compressor Including A Cylinder Head With An Integral Valve Plate
A cylinder head assembly for a compressor according to the present disclosure includes a valve plate and a cylinder head. The valve plate is configured to mount to a mounting surface of the compressor. The valve plate includes a suction chamber, a suction passage providing fluid communication between the suction chamber and a cylinder of the compressor, a suction valve seat through which the suction passage extends, and a discharge passage extending through the valve plate and defined by a discharge valve seat. The cylinder head at least partially covers the valve plate and defines a discharge chamber that is in selective fluid communication with the cylinder via the discharge passage. The cylinder head and the valve plate are formed together as a unitary body.
Cylinder Head Assembly For Reciprocating Compressor
A compressor may include a housing, a piston, and a cylinder head assembly. The housing defines a cylinder and a first valve seat defining a recess. The piston is movable within the cylinder to define a compression chamber. The cylinder head assembly is mounted on the housing and includes a valve plate, a suction valve, a discharge valve and a head cover. The valve plate may be mounted to the mounting surface and may include a suction plenum, a suction passage providing fluid communication between the suction plenum and the cylinder, and a discharge passage. The suction valve can seat on the first valve seat to allow fluid flow through the suction passage. The head cover may include a discharge chamber and an integrally formed guide post extending into the discharge chamber. The guide post may include a pocket that receives a discharge valve stem for reciprocation therein.
VALVE STRUCTURE, NONLUBRICATED LINEAR COMPRESSOR, AND CRYOCOOLER
A valve structure includes: a valve seat part furnished with a valve hole portion having a valve hole connecting a first gas chamber to a second gas chamber, and a valve-body supporting wall part laterally extending from the valve hole portion; an elastic valve-body member furnished with a first elastic platelike section disposed paralleling the valve hole portion, and a second elastic platelike section extending from the first elastic platelike section, wherein the first elastic platelike section is elastically deformable against the second elastic platelike section under pressure differential between the first gas chamber and the second gas chamber such as to open the valve hole; and an elastic pressing member arranged paralleling the second elastic platelike section such as to elastically deform together with the elastic valve-body member, and being of planar form determined such as to expose the first elastic platelike section.
RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR WITH NON-SELF-ACTUATED SUCTION VALVE
A reciprocating compressor having: a suction valve; a discharge valve; and a working chamber; wherein the suction valve is configured to provide fluid communication between a suction channel and the working chamber and the discharge valve is configured to provide fluid communication between the working chamber and a discharge channel; wherein the suction valve has at least one non-self-actuated valve and the discharge valve has at least one self-actuated check valve.
Valve seat unit
A valve seat unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, includes: a base; a valve seat including a seat surface for a valve to sit on and configured separately from the base; and a bolt securing the valve seat to the base. A head portion of the bolt is located between the seat surface and a seat back surface of the valve seat located opposite to the seat surface.
