The plunger pump can be configured to induce alternating tangential flow in at least a portion of the assembly. The fluid filtration assembly can be provided as a disposable single-use arrangement.

Various dispensing devices, such as foaming soap pumps, are disclosed. The soap pump can include a fluid storage unit and a fluid handling unit. The fluid storage unit can include a reservoir that is configured to hold a quantity of product, such as liquid soap. The fluid handling unit can include a pumping assembly and dispensing assembly. The soap pump can be configured to withdraw liquid soap from the reservoir, convert the liquid soap to foamed soap, and dispense the foamed soap from the discharge assembly.

The pair of support sections is comprised of an interior support section and an exterior support section that are vertically offset relative to each other's placement on the wall of the high-volume large diaphragm. It is additionally anticipated that more than one pair of offset interior and exterior support sections can be provided on high-volume large diaphragms with significantly greater wall height.

The rod includes means for maintaining the outlet lip bearing in a sealed manner against the rod when the membrane is in the initial state thereof whatever the pressure in the chamber and whatever the pressure around the pump.

Diaphragm pump

A diaphragm pump includes a driving mechanism and a counting sensor. The driving mechanism includes an arm portion attached to a deformed portion that forms a pump chamber, and a crank that rotates integrally with the rotating shaft of a motor, in which the rotation of the crank is converted into a reciprocal motion to make the arm portion reciprocally move. The counting sensor is configured to use the arm portion as a detection target and alternately switch between a detection state and a non-detection state as the arm portion makes the reciprocal motion. It is therefore possible to provide a diaphragm pump capable of detecting a discharge flow rate using an inexpensive ready-made motor.
