Electrochemically actuated pump

An electrochemically actuated pump and an electrochemical actuator for use with a pump. The pump includes one of various stroke volume multiplier configuration with the pressure of a pumping fluid assisting actuation of a driving fluid bellows. The electrochemical actuator has at least one electrode fluidically coupled to the driving fluid chamber of the first pump housing and at least one electrode fluidically coupled to the driving fluid chamber of the second pump housing. Accordingly, the electrochemical actuator selectively pressurized hydrogen gas within a driving fluid chamber.

DOSING PUMP WITH DOSING DIAPHRAGM
20210190050 · 2021-06-24 ·

The present invention concerns a dosing pump comprising a dosing chamber, a working chamber and a dosing diaphragm, wherein the dosing chamber and the working chamber are separated from each other by the dosing diaphragm, wherein there is provided a device for reciprocating movement of the dosing diaphragm between a first position and a second position, wherein the volume of the dosing chamber is smaller in the first position than in the second position. To provide a dosing pump, the dosing diaphragm of which has an increased service life and which as far as possible can be hydraulically operated even at very low dosing fluid pressures at the suction side it is proposed according to the invention that there is provided a prestressing device which prestresses the dosing diaphragm in the direction of the first or second position.

RECIPROCATING VOLUME PUMP
20210123430 · 2021-04-29 ·

A pump for moving liquid into and out of a fixed volume chamber through acceleration of the liquid to create a liquid pressure differential within the pump. The pump includes a fixed volume chamber having a first end and second end. A suction directional valve is connected to the first end of the fixed volume chamber and a discharge directional valve is connected to the second end of the fixed volume chamber. A power source is attached to the pump volume and moves the pump volume in a reciprocating motion. An acceleration of the reciprocating motion generates a force of liquid mass within the fixed volume chamber that overcomes the suction and discharge directional valves, allowing liquid mass into the fixed volume chamber and dispelling liquid mass from the fixed volume chamber.
