ACTIVE OIL INJECTION SYSTEM FOR A DIAPHRAGM COMPRESSOR
Devices and methods for operating a diaphragm compressor. Embodiments of the present disclosure comprise an oil piston being driven to pressurize work oil against the diaphragm of the compressor. In embodiments, an injection pump provides a supplemental flow of work oil in the region of pressurized fluid, and such pump may be part of an actively controlled system. In embodiments, a pressure relief valve vents an overpump flow of work oil, and such valve may be variable. Embodiments provide feedback and control mechanisms, including control of the injection pump and the relief valve.
HIGH-THROUGHPUT DIAPHRAGM COMPRESSOR

In some embodiments, modular diaphragm compressors are stacked with a clamping mechanism pressing the compressor modules together. A diaphragm compressor having a compressor head with a hydraulic fluid plate having a fluid plate contact plane and a process fluid plate having a process plate contact plane, the plates forming a compression chamber when contact therebetween is established, the compression chamber being divided in an upper chamber and a lower chamber by a multi-layered diaphragm where a controller is configured for controlling an alternating movement of the multi-layered diaphragm towards the upper and the lower chambers respectively, a process fluid plate seal is positioned in a process fluid seal groove provided in the contact plane, the process fluid plate seal forms a process fluid seal between an upper side of the multi-layered diaphragm and the contact plane, and the process fluid plate includes a process fluid leak groove system fluidly connected to a process fluid plate leakage passage provided in the process fluid plate.
SINGLE PISTON FOUNDATION BAG-IN-BOX (BIB) PUMP
A pump includes a liquid housing having a liquid chamber with a piston/diaphragm assembly arranged therein that responds to a suction stroke and draws liquid into the liquid chamber, and responds to a pressure stroke and provides liquid from the liquid chamber; and a gas housing having a slide valve assembly separating first and second gas chambers. The slide valve assembly responds to a suction-to-pressure-force at the suction stroke conclusion, changes from a suction-to-pressure stroke state, provides gas from the first to second gas chamber through the slide valve assembly, and provides the pressure stroke so liquid passes from the liquid chamber; and responds to a pressure-to-suction-force at the pressure stroke conclusion, changes from the pressure-to-suction stroke state, provides gas from the second chamber through the slide valve assembly, and provides the suction stroke so liquid is drawn into the liquid chamber.
Pumping cassette
A pumping cassette including a housing having at least two inlet fluid lines and at least two outlet fluid lines. At least one balancing pod within the housing and in fluid connection with the fluid paths. The balancing pod balances the flow of a first fluid and the flow of a second fluid such that the volume of the first fluid equals the volume of the second fluid. The balancing pod also includes a membrane that forms two balancing chambers. Also included in the cassette is at least two reciprocating pressure displacement membrane pumps. The pumps are within the housing and they pump the fluid from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet line and pump the second fluid from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet.
Fluid pumping systems, devices and methods
Described are fluid pumping and fluid handling systems, which may be suitable for use in medical devices, such as artificial or extracorporeal blood pumping systems. The systems can include a dual housing configuration for pneumatic actuation comprising a main housing containing a pump cassette comprising a pneumatically actuated pump and pneumatically actuated valves. The pump can include a pump actuation chamber and pump pneumatic port, and the valves can each include a valve actuation chamber and valve pneumatic port. Connecting tubes can be used to fluidly connect the pump actuation ports and valve actuation ports to a tube-support housing having a first side receiving one end of each connecting tube and a second side providing a pneumatic interface arranged to connect to an array of pneumatic receptacles on a base unit of the system to facilitate easy, compact and accurate pneumatic interconnection between the pump cassette and the base unit.
