Minimum pressure valve and method for servicing such a valve
A minimum pressure valve (10) comprising a housing (17) with the valve inlet (11) and the valve outlet (12) connected with each other by a chamber and connecting space (22a, 22b), the minimum pressure valve (10) also comprising a valve body (21) set up in a chamber (20) moveably between a closed position in which the valve inlet (11) is closed and an open position in which the valve inlet (11) is open, the minimum pressure valve (10) also comprising components which are provided with a seal and/or sliding parts (24, 26, 30), whereby a subassembly (22) of the minimum pressure valve (10) can be disassembled and/or assembled through an opening (31) in the housing (17).
Fuel pump for pressurizing low pressure fuel suctioned into a pressurizing chamber and discharging high pressure fuel pressurized in the pressurizing chamber
A metering valve is installed in a feed passage that supplies low pressure fuel, which is fed from a feed pump, to a pressurizing chamber. The metering valve adjusts a discharge amount of the low pressure fuel discharged from the pressurizing chamber. A first pressure regulating valve is opened in a case where a pressure of the low pressure fuel becomes equal to or larger than a first preset pressure. A second pressure regulating valve is opened in a case where the pressure of the low pressure fuel becomes equal to or larger than a second preset pressure. The first pressure regulating valve and the second pressure regulating valve are configured such that a degree of responsiveness of valve opening and closing of the second pressure regulating valve is higher than a degree of responsiveness of valve opening and closing of the first pressure regulating valve.
PUMPING SYSTEM WITH ACTUATOR
A pumping system is provided which includes a motor coupled with a transmission and a pump. The pump includes a housing with a chamber, a plunger coupled with the motor and the transmission and translatable into and out of the chamber creating pressure changes in the chamber, an entry valve at an inlet in the housing to the chamber, an exit valve at an outlet in the housing to the chamber, and an actuator coupled with the entry valve. The actuator is operable to hold the entry valve in an open configuration independent of pressure changes created by the translation of the plunger.
High pressure fuel supply pump
An object of the present invention is to obtain a high pressure fuel supply pump capable of reducing pressure pulsation that occurs in a low pressure pipe, preventing damage to the low pressure pipe, or reducing noise due to vibrations of the low pressure pipe. The present invention provides a high pressure fuel supply pump of a type in which, from a fuel suction port connected to a low pressure pipe provided upstream of a fuel, a low pressure passage, an electromagnetic suction valve driven by an electromagnetic force, a pressurizing chamber in which the volume thereof is increased or reduced by a plunger that is reciprocatingly moved by being guided by a cylinder, and a discharge valve provided at an outlet of the pressurizing chamber are sequentially arranged, a fuel is sucked to the pressurizing chamber through the electromagnetic suction valve, the amount of a part of the fuel, which is sucked to the pressurizing chamber, to be returned to the low pressure passage side is adjusted so that the amount of the fuel to be discharged through the discharge valve is controlled, and the high pressure fuel supply pump includes a backflow suppression mechanism for suppressing backflow of fuel from the fuel from the fuel suction portion to the low pressure pipe side.
