A one-way valve device for air compressors including a disc-shaped element having a plurality of holes for flow of the air distributed along a portion having a circular crown extension, a sheet superposed on the disc-shaped element for occluding the holes, the sheet being susceptible to lifting due to the pushing action exerted by the air flowing through the holes, a spring opposing the lifting of the sheet, a containment and covering dome.

Combined inlet and outlet check valve seat

A valve assembly for a fluid pump includes a valve body; an inlet disk movably disposed in the valve body; an outlet disk movably disposed in the valve body; and a valve seat fixed within the valve body. The valve seat includes a first aperture defined axially through the valve seat in a radial central portion thereof, and one or more second apertures disposed at least partly around the first aperture. The inlet disk is biased in a closed position against the valve seat along a first surface thereof, the closed position of the inlet disk covering the one or more second apertures of the valve seat. The outlet disk is biased in a closed position against the valve seat along a second surface thereof.

Inlet control valve for high pressure fuel pump

The disclosed inlet check valve is used in a high pressure fuel pump and is comprised of a valve member integrally connected to a valve stem which is coupled to an inlet valve armature. The valve member has a stroke along an axis between an open position and a closed position. An inlet valve solenoid generates a magnetic field in an inlet valve pole to attract the inlet valve armature and move the valve member from the open position to the closed position. In the open position, the valve member contacts an inlet valve stop and a gap greater than the stroke of the valve member is defined along the axis between the inlet valve armature and the inlet valve pole. In the closed position, an inlet valve seat mates with the valve member and an armature gap remains between the inlet valve armature and the inlet valve pole.

Fuel pump solenoid having hydraulic damping

A solenoid assembly of a fuel pump includes a housing; a pole piece disposed within the housing; an armature assembly movably disposed within the housing and including an armature and a plunger; and a coil disposed within the housing. A plurality of metal disks are disposed in a stacked arrangement, coupled to the pole piece and situated so as to be impacted by the armature during a full stroke of the armature assembly. The solenoid assembly further includes at least one fluid path in fluid communication with the region surrounding the metal disks, the at least one fluid path configured such that only a portion of a secondary swept volume of fuel associated with the armature assembly during operation of the fuel pump passes through the region and decelerates the armature assembly when the armature assembly moves towards the pole piece responsive to a current passing through the coil.

COMPRESSOR VALVE

A compressor valve suitable for use in a compressor is provided. The compressor valve comprises a first body member and a second body member. The first body member and the second body member each define a set of suction flow passages in fluid communication with each other between the suction passage and a cylinder of the compressor, and a set of compression flow passages in fluid communication with each other between the cylinder and the discharge passage. The valve includes a suction seal and a compression seal, both located at least partially between the first body member and the second body member. The suction seal is movable between a closed position and an open position. The suction seal is biased to a closed position against the flow of fluid from the suction passage to the cylinder. The suction seal and the compression seal are biased by helical coil springs.

DOUBLE-ACTION PUMP CYLINDER

A pump apparatus for pumping fluid from a well has a cylinder having upper and lower ends with inlet ports, a hollow pump rod defining a plurality of pump rod entry ports, a travelling two-way valve separating a cylinder interior into variable volume upper and lower chambers and first and second one-way valves mounted to the cylinder to seal the inlet ports.

Fuel pump solenoid assembly method

A solenoid assembly of a fuel pump is disclosed, including a housing having an open end and a partly closed end; a pole piece fixedly disposed within the housing; a bobbin assembly disposed within the housing and including a coil disposed proximal to the pole piece; and a bobbin retainer disposed between the open end of the housing and the bobbin assembly, a radially outer surface of the bobbin retainer contacting the housing. A portion of the housing which is adjacent the bobbin retainer has an outer surface that is recessed and an inner surface that protrudes against the bobbin retainer. The portion is created by deforming the housing to create the protrusion on the inner surface of the housing.
