Pressure-driven metered mixing dispensing pumps and methods
A pressure-driven metered treating chemistry dispensing pump for a laundry treating appliance having a housing having first, second and third chambers, with the first and second chambers each in fluid communication with the third chamber; a fluid inlet fluidly coupling a first fluid to the first chamber; an outlet fluidly coupled to the third chamber; a piston disposed in the housing; wherein, when the piston moves in a first direction in response to the first fluid entering the first chamber via the fluid inlet, the second chamber decreases in volume thereby ejecting at least some of the second fluid from the second chamber into the third chamber, and when the piston moves in a second direction, different from the first direction, the first chamber decreases in volume thereby ejecting at least some of the first fluid from the first chamber into the third chamber to mix the at least some of the first fluid and the at least some of the second fluid to form a mixture in the third chamber, which can be emitted through the outlet.
LINEAR COMPRESSOR
A linear compressor includes a cylinder that defines a compression chamber configured to accommodate refrigerant and that includes a cylinder nozzle configured to receive refrigerant, and a piston provided in the cylinder and configured to be pressed by refrigerant in the cylinder. The piston includes a piston body configured to move forward and backward within the cylinder, a piston front part located on a front surface of the piston body, the piston front part comprising a suction port through which refrigerant is supplied into the compression chamber, and a refrigerant collection part that is recessed from an outer circumferential surface of the piston front part, that extends to a front surface of the piston front part, and that is configured to receive at least a portion of refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber.
COMPACT PUMP AND DIAPHRAGM ASSEMBLY USED THEREIN
A compact pump includes a case, a diaphragm assembly is disposed in the case at an upper position and includes diaphragm units which form respective pump chambers, and a swing body is disposed in the case at a lower position and moves the plural diaphragm units in the top-bottom direction. The diaphragm assembly has intake valve elements for opening and closing respective air introduction holes. An upper cover of the case has an exhaust hole and ring-shaped recesses. The upper cover has tubular inner wall surfaces defining the respective ring-shaped recesses. The diaphragm assembly includes tubular exhaust valve elements which are disposed in the respective ring-shaped recesses so as to contact with plural respective tubular inner wall surfaces and a rib which is disposed at its center in the vicinity of the exhaust hole and connects center-side outer wall surfaces of the tubular exhaust valve elements.
Portable pump capable of transmitting air pressure value via wireless transmission to mobile electronic device for indication
A portable pump includes a cylinder, a nozzle, a valve, a piston rod, a tube, and a pressure sensing device. The nozzle connects with the cylinder and includes a passage connectable with the inflatable. The valve is mounted between the cylinder and the nozzle. The piston rod has a rod hole and is connected with a piston and a handle. The handle includes a recess. The tube is connected with the valve. The pressure sensing device is disposed in the recess. The pressure sensing device can measure a pressure value of the air flowing into the recess and is connectable with a mobile electronic device via wireless transmission for indication.
Fluid Dose Dispensing Apparatus
An apparatus for dosing a fluid flow system with treatment fluid/chemicals is described. The apparatus includes a vessel; an inlet pipe or hose and an outlet pipe for coupling to the system so that fluid from the system may flow into the vessel and return into the system to flush chemicals from within the vessel and into the system. The vessel has a piston within it and the vessel wall defines a cylinder in which the piston moves under pressure of incoming fluid from a first position at which the vessel contains fluid to be dispensed into the system to a second position corresponding to substantially complete emptying of the vessel. The piston has a bypass passage through or around it that opens when the piston substantially reaches the second position so that fluid from the system may flow passed the piston when the piston is at the second position.
