Pruning shears with frusto-conical wheel
10398088 · 2019-09-03 · ·

Pruning shears include a cutting head with a spring-biased blade; a driving line connected at a first end to the blade; an elongated body; a handle; and a frusto-conical shaped wheel connected rotatably to the handle. The diameter of the wheel at a first end being smaller than the diameter at a second end. The line is wound into a spiral groove around the wheel at the first end; a second end of the line is attached to a second end of the elongated body; and the line wound around the wheel moves toward the second end of the wheel when unwinding a part of the line from around the wheel and winding another part of the line around the wheel for decreasing the distance between the first and second ends of the line, resulting in movement of the blade in relation to the jaw, when the handle is moved.

TREE PRUNER

A tree pruner has a connecting pole. The connecting pole is connected with a main body. The main body includes a blade seat and a blade pivotally connected to the blade seat. The main body is pivotally connected with a rotating wheel. The rotating wheel is connected with a pull member. The rotating wheel is rotatable relative to the main body by pulling the pull member. An end surface of the rotating wheel has a traction portion located away from a pivot axis of the rotating wheel. The blade has a drive arm extending outwardly. One end of a pull rod is pivotally connected to the traction portion. Another end of the pull rod is pivotally connected to the drive arm. By pulling the pull member, the rotating wheel is driven to rotate, and the pull rod is pulled to drive the blade to swing for performing cutting.

A handle assembly system includes first and second handle sections intended to be assembled with one another. The first and second handle sections include complementary threads that cooperate to retain the first and second handle sections. The system also includes a friction seal interposed between the first and second handle sections.

FOLDABLE GARDENING SHEAR
20190069494 · 2019-03-07 · ·

A foldable gardening shear may comprise a main body, a pair of handles, and a pair of pivot members. Each of the pivot members has a control unit, a knob, a screw and a pair of covers. The main body comprises a first pivot pin pivotally connect to a pair of cutting members at a middle portion of the main body. Each of the cutting members has a blade formed at an upper portion thereof, and the two blades are configured to couple together to achieve the cutting effect. The present invention is advantageous because the handles can be folded upwardly, which enables the gardening shear to be carried and stored easily; and in the folded position, the handles are respectively located at two lateral sides of the cutting members, which can prevent the blades from hurting the user.

The present invention relates to a shearing tool such as scissors, comprising first and second cutting members pivotally coupled with each other, and a linkage pivotally coupled to the first and second cutting members, whereby the linkage and one of the first and second cutting members form together a compound lever mechanism. A force applied by an operator onto the shearing tool increases as an output by the linkage, and the increasing force is conveyed to that cutting member so that the cutting power of the shearing tool increase to allow hard-to-cut materials to be cut manually and easily with less effort from the operator.

TREE PRUNER

A tree pruner includes a pruner body, a blade system, and an electric motor to provide driving power for the blade system. Rotation of the electric motor in a first direction provides a cutting action. A control system controls the electric motor, and a transmission system having a transmission rope transfers power from the electric motor to the blade system. The tree pruner includes a tension management system to detect a slack rope situation in which tension of the transmission rope is below a predetermined limit value, and the control system prevents rotation of the electric motor in a second direction opposite to the first direction as a response to detection of the slack rope situation.

Pruning shears include a cutting head with a spring-biased blade pivotally connected to a jaw and arranged to sever a workpiece received in a bight formed by the jaw. A drive mechanism is connected to the cutting head and an elongate housing is connected to the drive mechanism. The drive mechanism includes a rotation preventer for preventing rotation of a second pulley in relation to the drive mechanism when a drawing torque is applied to the second pulley. The drawing torque is greater than a threshold torque, resulting in a second pulley being stationary in relation to the drive mechanism and the first pulley rotating in relation to the drive mechanism.
