Hydraulic gear pump with axial compensation

An example assembly comprises: a pump cover; a thrust plate configured to interface with the pump cover at a first side of the thrust plate and interface with gears of a gear pump at a second side of the thrust plate; and a seal disposed within a seal cavity formed at an interface between the thrust plate and the pump cover, wherein the seal defines multiple partitions at the interface between the thrust plate and the pump cover and seals each partition of the multiple partitions from other partitions.

SOLENOID VALVE AND OIL PUMP

A solenoid valve includes: a cylindrical spool that has an annular groove in an outer surface and moves along an axial direction under a driving force generated by a current being applied to a solenoid part; a cylindrical sleeve that has a through-hole capable of communicating with the annular groove and houses the spool; and an urging member that urges the spool by an urging force acting in a direction opposite from a direction in which the driving force is generated. When no current is applied to the solenoid part, a part of the through-hole communicates with the annular groove. When a current is applied to the solenoid part, an area of communication between the through-hole and the annular groove increases as the spool moves under the driving force acting against the urging force.

Variable displacement oil pump

A variable displacement oil pump includes: a variable displacement mechanism that is able to change a discharge amount per rotation of an input shaft. The variable displacement mechanism includes a pump housing, an oil pressure chamber provided in the pump housing, and a capacity adjustment member displaced by oil pressure from the oil pressure chamber. The capacity adjustment member is configured to be operated when receiving control oil pressure that is supplied from a control valve to the oil pressure chamber. The pump housing has an oil release hole that is opened to face the oil pressure chamber and that penetrates a wall section of the pump housing to partially release oil.

Sealing of a gear pump

A gear pump apparatus includes a gear pump and a sealing mechanism which includes an annular rubber member, an outer member, and an inner member. One of the outer member and a casing of the gear pump apparatus has a contact member located outside a portion of the outer member which contacts the gear pump in a radial direction of the gear pump. The contact member is placed to create a physical contact between the outer member and the casing to absorb a part of force by which the outer member is pressed against the gear pump. This results in a decrease in pressure acting on an area of contact between the outer member and the gear pump, which leads to a drop in resistance to sliding between the gear pump and the outer member, thus decreasing a loss of torque required for the pumping operation of the gear pump.

An inner wall surface of a pump housing has a slide surface, which is opposite from a joint member and along which an inner rotor is slidable. This slide surface includes an external tooth slide surface and a main body slide surface. External teeth of the inner rotor are slidable along the external tooth slide surface, and a main body of the inner rotor is slidable along the main body slide surface. A surface roughness of the main body slide surface is higher than a surface roughness of the external tooth slide surface.

THERMISTOR FLOW PATH
20170343098 · 2017-11-30 ·

A fluid pump includes a pump element in communication with an inlet and an outlet. Rotation of the pump element generates a suction at the inlet and pressure at the outlet. The suction and pressure cooperate to move a fluid through a fluid path. An accessory fluid path is in communication with the inlet and outlet. The accessory fluid path includes a thermistor in communication with the accessory fluid path. The thermistor monitors a temperature of the fluid within the accessory fluid path.

GEROTOR PUMP

A gerotor pump includes a rotor wherein only on the face wall of the rotor that lies adjacent to a pressure kidney and a suction kidney, a lubrication surface inclined in the direction of rotation of the rotor, relative to the surface plane of the face wall of the rotor, is disposed on each tooth, in each instance, over its tooth height, either starting directly in the center tooth plane or starting “offset” ahead of the center tooth plane in the direction of rotation of the rotor, which surface is formed from a level surface or multiple, always level partial surfaces that follow one another, which enclose an angle of inclination relative to the surface plane of the face wall of the rotor, in each instance, which angle lies in the range from 0.2° to 7°, in each instance.

SCROLL COMPRESSOR

A scroll compressor is provided that may include a casing having an oil storage space, a suction pipe and a discharge pipe being connected to the casing, a drive motor installed in an inner space of the casing and including a rotational shaft rotated by a generated drive force, a compression unit installed in the inner space of the casing and having a compression chamber operated by the drive motor to compress a refrigerant, an oil separator coupled to the discharge pipe, that receives refrigerant discharged after being compressed by the compression unit, separates oil from the refringent, and supplies the oil to an inside of the casing, and a subframe that rotatably supports the rotational shaft at one side of the rotational shaft. The subframe may be provided with an oil recovery flow path that extends in a radial direction and guides oil to be recovered toward the inside of the casing from the oil separator.

Gerotor Pump

A gerotor pump having an inner rotor and an outer rotor, which is also the rotor of an electric drive, having a housing and a flange which closes the housing with the motor compartment, the rotor being arranged on a shaft and sealing against the flange at a gap, wherein, in addition to the gap, there is at least one device with which at least a partial pressure compensation takes place between the suction region of the gerotor pump and the motor compartment of the gerotor pump.

POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT PUMP INCLUDING AN UNLOADING DEVICE
20170314553 · 2017-11-02 ·

A transfer pump configured to move a hydraulic fluid in a hydraulic fluid management system of a hydraulic system of a vehicle including a transmission. In one embodiment, the transfer pump moves the fluid from a differential case to a hydraulic reservoir coupled to the transmission. The transfer pump is a positive displacement pump including an unloading device, such as a sealing plate, that is resiliently biased against the pump during a normal operation but is moved away from the pump upon the application of a pilot pressure. The result is an open chamber for the pump gears to turn without developing pressure, to thereby reduce parasitic losses.
