The microfluidic pumping system comprising a gear housing that has an inlet and an outlet and that houses a drive gear, an idler gear and a drive shaft. The system further includes a front end plate that is coupled to a first surface of the gear housing and a rear end plate that is coupled to a second, different surface of the gear housing. Also coupled to the gear housing is a first and second Halbach magnet arrays that is disposed between the front end plate and the rear end plate. The first and second Halbach magnet arrays include one or more solenoids and the first Halbach magnet array is disposed proximate to the drive gear and the second Halbach magnet array is disposed proximate to the idler gear.
Tolerance independent crescent internal gear pump
A crescent internal gear pump includes a front cover, an end cover, a ring gear and a pinion gear disposed within a gear housing in an eccentric, intermeshing relationship. The housing is disposed intermediate the front cover and the end cover. A crescent is disposed radially intermediate the ring gear and the pinion gear. The crescent partially extends into a correspondingly shaped slot in the end cover. The gear housing, the ring gear, and the pinion gear can have substantially the same thickness. A shim can be disposed intermediate the end cover and the gear housing for establishing a desired clearance therebetween.
Roots pump having a seal member with first and second projections
A housing unit of a Roots pump includes a rotor housing, which includes a peripheral wall, and a cover member, which closes an opening of the rotor housing. At least one of a mating surface of the peripheral wall or a mating surface of the cover member includes an annular first groove accommodating a seal member. The rotor housing includes a bulging portion including a second groove. The seal member incudes first projections, which project from an annular seal body, and a second projection, which projects further radially inward from the seal body than the first projections. Each first projection includes a distal end that contacts a side surface on a radially inner side or on a radially outer side of the first groove. The second projection is arranged in the second groove to determine the position of the seal body in the first groove.
SEALING ASSEMBLY FOR A PROGRESSIVE CAVITY PUMP
A sealing assembly for a progressive cavity pump and a progressive cavity pump assembly having a retaining sleeve, a ring, and an elastic diaphragm terminating in a first end of the diaphragm in a first opening, and in a second end of the diaphragm, opposite the first end, in a second opening larger than the first opening. The second opening is held in contact with the retaining sleeve by the ring, and the first opening is configured to grip a rotor of the progressive cavity pump, and the ring is configured to hold the second opening fixed with respect to a stator of the progressive cavity pump.
ROOTS PUMP
INTERNAL GEAR FLUID MACHINE
An internal gear fluid machine includes a first gearwheel having an external toothing and mounted rotatably about a first axis of rotation, and a second gearwheel having an internal toothing meshing in regions with the external toothing in an engagement region and mounted rotatably about a second axis of rotation different from the first axis of rotation. The internal gear fluid machine additionally includes a filler piece arranged between the first gearwheel and the second gearwheel away from the engagement region, which filler piece bears on one side against the external toothing and on the other side against the internal toothing, in order to divide a fluid space present between the first gearwheel and the second gearwheel into a first fluid chamber and a second fluid chamber. Sealing discs are arranged in the axial direction with respect to the first axis of rotation on both sides of the first gearwheel and the second gearwheel, which, during operation of the internal gear fluid machine, bear in a sealing manner against the first gearwheel and the second gearwheel, and an axial opening is formed in each of the sealing discs. A common one of the fluid chambers is in flow communication with the same fluid connection of the internal gear fluid machine via both axial openings.
Compressor Modulation System With Multi-Way Valve
A compressor may include first and second scrolls, an axial biasing chamber, and a control valve. The second scroll includes an outer port and an inner port. The outer and inner ports may be open to respective intermediate-pressure compression pockets. The control valve may be in fluid communication with the inner port, the outer port, and the axial biasing chamber. Movement of the control valve into the first position allows fluid communication between the inner port and the axial biasing chamber. Movement of the control valve into the second position allows fluid communication between the outer port and the axial biasing chamber.
