Bearing with an asymmetric pressure balance groove
A pump bearing including a top face, a side face peripherally surrounding the top face, a bottom face opposed to the top face, a first bearing bore projecting from the top face to the bottom face, an edge defined where the top face meets the side face, and an asymmetric pressure balance groove defined within a portion of the edge of the top face and the side face defining first depth from the top face.
Compressor system with purge gas system
A compressor system includes a compressor having a rotor; a bearing supporting the rotor, wherein the bearing is disposed in a bearing cavity; and wherein the bearing has a near frictionless coating; and a purge gas system in fluid communication with the bearing cavity and constructed to purge air from the bearing cavity and supply the bearing cavity with the purge gas during operation of the compressor. The purge gas can be nitrogen and the near frictionless coating can be a near-frictionless diamond-like carbon coating.
COMPACT DUAL-SECTION GEAR PUMP
A dual-section gear pump that enhances compactness of the design includes two pump sections separated by a divider. Each pump section includes a pump cavity and a gear set configured to convey fluid from an intake side to a discharge side of the respective pump cavities. The divider includes a fluid flow passage that enables the two pump sections to share common intake flow via the flow passage provided across the divider. The divider also is configured to enable each gear set in each pump section to provide independent pressurization of the fluid in each pump section, which is discharged from each pump cavity via separate outlets. The gear pump is configured to provide suitable sealing between each pump section and support of the respective gear sets in each pump section while enhancing compactness of the design.
PUMP DEVICE
A pump device includes: a drive shaft; a pump element; a pump housing including; a pump element receiving space, first and second bearing receiving spaces, a suction passage, a discharge passage, a return passage, and a seal receiving space, a first bearing including a first lubrication groove, received within the first bearing receiving space, and supporting the drive shaft; a second bearing which includes a second lubrication groove having a sectional area that is perpendicular to the rotation axis, and that is greater than a sectional area of the first bearing that is perpendicular to the rotation axis, which is received within the second bearing receiving space, and which supports the drive shaft; and a seal member provided within the seal receiving space, and arranged to seal between the drive shaft and the pump housing.
Pump shaft packing gland and bushing
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for mitigating fluid loss or leakage from a fluid pump with a rotating shaft driving a pumping mechanism. A one-piece, combined packing gland-bushing component can have an internal seal that allows for use of lubricants at higher pressures. Further, the combined packing gland-bushing component can be configured with a removal component that allows for easier removal of the packing gland-bushing component from a pump shaft, and shaft packing box.
Gear pump device for rubber extrusion
In a gear pump device for rubber extrusion, prolongation of the maintenance intervals is intended by preventing rubber scorch occurring at the gear support-shaft portion. It has a bushing ring 5 inserted in a gear-housing bore 3 of a housing 4. The bushing ring 5 rotatably supports a support-shaft portion 7 of a gear 2 accommodated in the gear-housing bore 3. The bushing ring 5 has a bearing 15 and a sealing means 16 built-in. The sealing means 16 includes a seal ring 22 of which cross section is ]-shaped and which has a first lip portion 22i contacting with the outer peripheral surface of the support-shaft portion 7, a second lip portion 22o disposed outside thereof in the radial direction, and a side wall portion 22m connecting between outer ends in the axial direction, of the first and second lip portions 22i, 22o.
Motor-driven roots pump
A rotor-chamber wall of a motor-driven Roots pump has a suction port and a discharge port. The side on which the discharge port is located with respect to a plane that includes both the rotational axis of a drive shaft and the rotational axis of a driven shaft is a first side. A first partition wall defines a gear chamber and has a first recess on the first side. A second partition wall defines the gear chamber and has a second recess. The first partition wall has a first oil supply passage that is configured to supply oil from the first recess to a first seal accommodating recess. The second partition wall has a second and a third oil supply passages. The second and the third oil supply passages are configured to supply oil from the second recess to a second and a third seal accommodating recesses, respectively.
Screw Compressor
A screw compressor comprising a compressor housing with a screw rotor chamber, two screw rotors, which are arranged in the screw rotor chamber, are mounted on the compressor housing so as to be rotatable about respective screw rotor axes, and mesh with one another, and also at least one control slide, which is arranged in a slide channel of the compressor housing, adjacently to both screw rotors by means of slide compression wall surfaces, is movable in a displacement direction parallel to the screw rotor axes, is rigidly connected to a piston rod that leads to a cylinder assembly for moving the at least one control slide, and is guided relative to the compressor housing by means of a guide insert that movably receives the piston rod in the displacement direction, wherein the piston rod is guided transversely to the displacement direction in the guide insert in elastically resilient fashion by means of a guide element.
FOOD PRODUCT PUMP WITH IMPELLER AND STAR WHEEL
A pump for pumping a liquid food product, including a star wheel arranged to be driven by an impeller to rotate around an axis that is offset from an axis of rotation of the impeller, an element that extends between a part of the star wheel and the impeller, such that the liquid is pumped when the impeller rotates and thereby drives the star wheel. A channel is formed between the star wheel and an axle on which the star wheel is arranged, such that a part of the product may enter the channel for providing lubrication.
Positive Displacement Pump With Shaft-Mounted Sleeve
A rotary positive displacement pump comprising a pair of forwardly-positioned sealing arrangements and a pair of forwardly-positioned sleeves are received within a cavity providing for easy maintenance of the pump when the seals need to serviced. Each of the sealing arrangement includes a dynamic seal and a static seal. The dynamic seal abuts a corresponding sleeve and hub while a static seal is established between the corresponding sleeve and rotor.
