To provide a shaft seal that is capable of decreasing rotational torque and realizing superior sealing performance. A shaft seal 1 having a ring shape adheres to an outer peripheral surface of a rotational shaft 6 and thereby seals sealed fluid. The shaft seal 1 partitions a gap between the rotational shaft 6 and a housing 7 to which the shaft seal 1 is mounted, into a high-pressure side and a low-pressure side. The shaft seal 1 is an injection-molded body having a generally U-shape in a sectional view about an axial direction. The shaft seal 1 has a seal lip part 2 that is configured to extend to the high-pressure side and slide on the rotational shaft 6, and an outer lip part 3 that is disposed at an outer diametrical side relative to the seal lip part 2. An inclined angle α of the seal lip part 2 relative to the outer peripheral surface of the rotational shaft 6 is 5-20 degrees. The length L.sub.2 of the seal lip part 2 in the sectional view about the axial direction of the shaft seal 1 is 2.0-6.5 mm.

Motor and compressor including the same

A compressor including a housing, and a motor including a stator to be interference fitted into and fixed to an inner circumferential surface of the housing and a rotor rotatable inside the stator. The stator includes an annular back yoke disposed inside the housing, a plurality of teeth extending radially inward from the back yoke, and a coil wound on the plurality of teeth. The back yoke includes a deformation portion compressed and deformed by the housing while the stator is interference fitted into the inner circumferential surface of the housing, a contact portion which protrudes radially outward from the deformation portion and being in contact with the housing, and a cavity formed on a radial inner side of the deformation portion into which the deformation portion is deformed.

A scroll compressor is disclosed. The scroll compressor may include an anti-rotation mechanism provided with an anti-rotation pin and an anti-rotation ring between an orbiting scroll and a scroll support member facing the orbiting scroll, and an axial thickness of the ring body portion constituting the anti-rotation ring may be larger than an axial depth of a ring insertion groove in which the anti-rotation ring is inserted. This can allow the orbiting scroll and a member facing the same to be spaced physically apart without a separate member, to secure a gap for oil to flow, such that the oil can be smoothly supplied between the orbiting scroll and the member, thereby suppressing seizure or/and friction loss between the orbiting scroll and the member.

High pressure scroll compressor

Disclosed herein is a high-pressure scroll compressor, in response to a discharged refrigerant flowing into a back pressure chamber, capable of directly discharging the refrigerant to a space inside a main body, and capable of maintaining an intermediate pressure of the back pressure chamber to be less than a discharge pressure of the refrigerant by separately providing a discharge flow path in the back pressure chamber. The high-pressure scroll compressor comprises a main body, a fixed scroll fixed inside the main body, an orbiting scroll engaged with the fixed scroll to perform a relative orbiting motion, and forming a compression chamber with the fixed scroll, a main frame located under the orbiting scroll and including a back pressure chamber filled with an intermediate-pressure refrigerant, a back pressure hole provided in the orbiting scroll and provided to allow the compression chamber to communicate with the back pressure chamber, a bypass portion configured to selectively bypass the refrigerant of the compression chamber to a space inside the main body, and a back pressure chamber discharge portion configured to selectively discharge the refrigerant of the back pressure chamber to the space inside the main body.
