SCROLL COMPRESSOR
A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll, a movable scroll revolvable with respect to the fixed scroll, and a crankshaft rotatable to cause the movable scroll to revolve. A discharge port is formed in a first scroll of the fixed scroll or the movable scroll. A cutout portion is formed in a second scroll of the fixed scroll or the movable scroll. The cutout portion formed in the second scroll at least partially passes through a profile of the discharge port formed in the first scroll because of revolution of the movable scroll.
REFRIGERANT COMPRESSOR FOR AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEMS AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A REFRIGERANT COMPRESSOR
A refrigerant compressor for air-conditioning systems and to a method for operating a refrigerant compressor, is based on the object of specifying a solution with which safe functioning of a refrigerant compressor is achieved and in which the effort during production of the refrigerant compressor and the costs are reduced.
ELECTRIC REFRIGERANT DRIVE
An electric refrigerant drive, in particular a refrigerant compressor for an air conditioner of a motor vehicle, has an electric motor drive module and a compressor module coupled to the drive module. The drive module has a motor housing which houses an electric motor with a rotatable motor shaft and is joined to an end shield. The drive module also comprises a fluid-tight housing partition opposite the end shield, thereby forming an electronic housing that receives an electronic motor unit and is closed by a housing cover. The compressor module has a compressor housing which is attached to the end shield of the motor housing of the drive module and which receives a compressor part that is coupled or can be coupled to the drive module so as to be driven.
Scroll compressor with improved sealing performance of back pressure chamber
A scroll compressor includes a movable scroll and a fixed portion. The fixed portion has a first bearing surface. The movable scroll has a second bearing surface. The scroll compressor includes a back pressure chamber located between the movable scroll and the fixed portion. At least one of the movable scroll and the fixed portion is provided with a groove disposed on a periphery of the back pressure chamber. The scroll compressor further includes a sealing assembly at least partially installed in the groove. One end of the sealing assembly is in contact with a groove bottom surface in the groove, and another end of the sealing assembly is in contact with the first bearing surface or the second bearing surface. The sealing assembly includes a wear-resistant ring and an elastic ring. The elastic ring has at least one recess on a surface thereof.
SCROLL COMPRESSOR WITH BYPASS PORTIONS
There is disclosed a scroll compressor according to the present disclosure in which a discharge port is formed at a central portion thereof, and a pair of two compression chambers continuously moving toward the discharge port are formed, and a plurality of bypass portions are formed at each interval along a movement path of each compression chamber in the both compression chambers, and compression gradients of the both compression chambers are formed to be different from each other, wherein when an interval between a bypass portion closest to the discharge port and another bypass portion adjacent to the bypass portion among the bypass portions of each compression chamber is defined as a first interval, respectively, a first interval of a second bypass portion belonging to a compression chamber having a relatively larger compression gradient is formed to be smaller than that of a first bypass portion belonging to the other compression chamber between the both compressor chambers.
Compressor
A compressor may include first and second scrolls, a hub plate and a valve. The first scroll may include an end plate defining first and second sides, a primary discharge passage extending therethrough, and a secondary discharge passage extending therethrough and located radially outward from the primary discharge passage. The hub plate may be mounted to the first scroll and may include first and second opposite sides and a hub discharge passage in fluid communication with the primary discharge passage. The first side of the hub plate may face the second side of the end plate and may include a valve guide extending axially toward the end plate adjacent the hub discharge passage. The valve member may be secured on the valve guide for axial movement between open and closed positions to respectively allow and restrict fluid communication between the secondary discharge passage and the hub discharge passage.
SCROLL COMPRESSOR AND AIR CONDITIONING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll and a movable scroll. The fixed scroll has a spiral fixed-side wrap positioned upright on a surface of a fixed-side plate. The movable scroll is orbitably disposed to face the fixed scroll. The movable scroll has a spiral movable-side wrap positioned upright on a surface of a movable-side plate, with the movable-side wrap being configured to mesh with the fixed-side wrap. A side clearance is formed between a side surface of the fixed-side wrap and a side surface of the movable-side wrap so as to increase from an outer peripheral side toward an inner peripheral side of each of the wraps.
Scroll compressor and air conditioner
A compressor is provided with a fixed scroll having a spiral lap erected on a bed plate; an orbiting scroll having a spiral lap erected on a panel and forming a compression room meshed with the fixed scroll; and an orbiting bearing disposed penetrating the panel and the central part of the lap of the orbiting scroll, wherein a lap center is so shifted from a panel center out of alignment in a direction in which, within a range in which the orbiting bearing can be formed in the central part of the lap, the longer of the minimum distance between the lap winding end position of the orbiting scroll and the outer circumference of the panel and the minimum distance between the outermost circumferential part and the outer circumference of the panel in an approximately 90 direction of becomes the shortest distance.
AEROSTATIC THRUST BEARING AND METHOD OF AEROSTATICALLY SUPPORTING A THRUST LOAD IN A SCROLL COMPRESSOR
A scroll compressor includes a first scroll member, a second scroll member, and an aerostatic thrust bearing. The aerostatic thrust bearing forms a layer of gas between the second scroll member and a fixed supporting member to support the second scroll member as the second scroll member rotates and/or orbits. Also disclosed is a method of supporting a rotating/orbiting scroll member in a scroll compressor. The method including supplying pressurized gas to an aerostatic thrust bearing such that a layer of gas is formed between the rotating/orbiting scroll member and a fixed supporting member.
