The trimming machine includes: an electric motor; a blade drive gear rotationally driven by the electric motor; an eccentric cam provided in the gear; and a pair of blades relatively slidably facing and contacting each other, in which the eccentric cam is adapted to reciprocate the pair of blades in relatively opposite directions along the longitudinal direction of the blades, thereby grinding cutting edges against each other, the cutting edges provided in a protruding manner with gaps therebetween in the pair of blades, and a shock absorbing portion is provided between a connecting portion connected to the eccentric cam and the cutting edges in each of the blades.
