ELECTRIC WORKING MACHINE
An electric working machine may include a support rod, a head unit, a position fixing mechanism, and a resistance member. The support rod may extend in a front-rear direction and include an attachment portion located at a front end of the support rod. The head unit may include a front tool, a motor configured to drive the front tool, and a head housing supporting the front tool and coupled to the attachment portion rotatably about a rotation axis. The position fixing mechanism may be configured to fix a rotation position of the head unit with respect to the support rod. The resistance member may be interposed between the attachment portion and the head housing with respect to a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis. The resistance member may be configured to provide a resistance force against rotation of the head unit with respect to the support rod.
Chain saw
A chain saw disclosed herein may include a motor configured to rotate a saw chain about a guide bar, a control unit configured to control a voltage applied to the motor, a body housing that houses the motor and the control unit, a battery detachably attached to the body housing, and a top handle provided above the body housing. The control unit may be disposed above the battery. In a rear view of the chain saw in a state where the chain saw is placed on a mount surface, the battery and the control unit may not overlap. In a top view of the chain saw in the state where the chain saw is placed on the mount surface, the battery and the control unit may overlap at least partially.
Method for obtaining information for adjusting an adjustable component of a combustion engine drive system of a gardening and/or forestry apparatus, gardening and/or forestry apparatus system, and gardening and/or forestry apparatus
A method obtains information for adjusting an adjustable component of a combustion engine drive system of a gardening and/or forestry apparatus. The method includes the steps of: providing a characteristic parameter using a mobile provision device, wherein the characteristic parameter describes a characteristic of an environment of the gardening and/or forestry apparatus; and obtaining the information for adjusting the adjustable component as a function of the provided characteristic parameter.
Handheld work apparatus and method for mounting an anti-vibration unit thereof
A handheld work apparatus includes a first assembly, a second assembly and an anti-vibration unit which includes a coil spring. A first end of the coil spring forms a fastening eyelet fixed to the first assembly by an attachment screw which extends through the fastening eyelet and the head thereof projects into the coil spring. A second end of the coil spring is screwed onto a connecting piece of the second assembly which has an opening extending through the connecting piece and through which an engagement contour in the head of the attachment screw is accessible for a tool. When the work apparatus is in a non-loaded state, the distance (f) between the fastening eyelet and a front end of the connecting piece is the length (g) of the attachment screw. The distance (p) of the above support surface from the front end of the connecting piece is the length (g).
HAND-HELD ELECTRICAL POWER TOOL
A hand-held electrical power tool includes a working device for performing working function of the hand-held electrical power tool, a power device including a motor for driving the working device, a power supplying unit for supplying power to the power device, and an operating device through which a user can operate. The operating device includes an operating handle and a speed regulating device arranged beside the operating handle. The speed regulating device includes a speed regulating switch and a speed regulating operating member connected to the speed regulating switch and driving the speed regulating switch. When the rotating speed of the motor increases from zero to the maximum, the rotating angle of the speed regulating operating member is 0-360 degrees.
ELECTRIC POWER WORK DEVICE
Provided is an electric power work device which includes: a body case; a work tool protruding forward from a front side with respect to the body case; a motor; and a battery supplying power to the motor. The motor is accommodated in the body case and the battery is detachably attached to a rear side with respect to the body case. A top handle is extended in a longitudinal direction at an upside with respect to the body case. The top handle includes, on an upper surface of a front part thereof, a thumb rest and a power switch. The power switch is arranged on a side in a lateral direction of the thumb rest.
FLUID TANK FOR A POWER TOOL
A power tool includes a tool head having a working element and a powerhead configured to provide power to the working element. The powerhead includes a fluid tank configured to hold a combustible fuel and defines an initial internal volume having an internal pressure. A diaphragm is formed of a flexible material and forms at least a portion of the fluid tank. The diaphragm moves from an unexpanded state to an expanded state when a temperature of the combustible fuel increases above a threshold value. Movement of the diaphragm to the expanded state increases the internal volume of the fluid tank to allow the internal pressure of the fluid tank to remain approximately constant.
TRIGGER LOCKOUT WITH DISSIMILAR ACTIONS
A control assembly for selectively controlling actuation of an electric motor arranged to power a hand-held power tool based on combined performance of two dissimilar operator actions and a hand-held power tool including such a control assembly. A switch member may be closed responsive to an enabling action including a first of the two dissimilar operator actions. A throttle control member becomes operable responsive to actuation of the throttle control member past a first movement threshold, i.e. a second dissimilar operator action, while the switch member is in the actuated state. The throttle control member remains repeatedly operable above a second movement threshold, even if the switch member is opened. Actuation of the throttle control member to below the second movement threshold will render the throttle control member non-operable until renewed combined performance of the first and second dissimilar operator actions.
POWER TOOL WITH NON-CONDUCTIVE DRIVESHAFT
A power tool includes an elongated shaft forming a handle and a tool head located at one end of the handle. The tool head includes a working element and a driven shaft configured to drive the working element. A powerhead located at an opposite end of the handle and includes an input shaft. A driveshaft extends between the tool head and the powerhead. The driveshaft is rotatably coupled to the input shaft and the driven shaft to transfer torque from the powerhead to the working element of the tool head. At least a portion of the driveshaft extending between the powerhead and the working element is constructed of a non-conductive material to inhibit transmission of electricity from the working element to the powerhead.
IMPACT PROTECTING MEMBER FOR A CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool including a housing, the cutting tool having a longitudinal extension from the housing to a cutting element provided at the distal end of the cutting tool. The housing is provided with a rigid impact protecting member having at least a first rigid portion, the rigid portion being transverse to the longitudinal extension of the cutting tool and provided at a distance from the housing such that the housing is protected from an impact.
