ROTARY COMPRESSOR
A rotary compressor may include a rotary shaft; a plurality of plates that supports the rotary shaft; a cylinder provided between the plurality of plates to define a compression space, and provided with a vane slot; a roller slidably coupled to the rotary shaft inside of the cylinder, and having a hinge groove on an outer circumferential surface thereof; and a vane, a first end of which is slidably coupled to the vane slot of the cylinder, and a second end of which is rotatably coupled to the hinge groove of the roller. At least one of first and second axial end surfaces of the roller facing the plurality of plates is provided with a dimple portion having a predetermined depth. With this structure, contact surfaces between the roller and the plate may be prevented from being in close contact with each other, preventing the roller or the plate from being damaged or a performance of the compressor from deteriorating due to friction loss, thereby improving reliability and performance of the compressor.

When an imaginary line passing through an axial center of the rotary shaft and a hinge center of the vane is a first center line, and a radial center line of the vane slot passing through the hinge center of the vane is a second center line, the vane slot is disposed such that the second center line is intersected by a predetermined tilting angle with respect to the first center line. With this structure, a roller reaction force is canceled to suppress an increase in side pressure or side wear between a vane and a vane slot into which the vane is inserted.

ROTARY COMPRESSOR
A rotary compressor includes a cylinder, a drive unit, a piston, a vane, and an oil passage. The cylinder includes a suction chamber for suctioning fluid and a compression chamber for compressing fluid. The drive unit rotates a drive shaft by connecting to the cylinder. The piston oscillates in the cylinder by connecting to the drive shaft. The vane extends between the cylinder and the piston so as to separate the suction chamber from the compression chamber, and some parts of the length of the vane are inserted into a slide groove formed in the cylinder. One end of the vane is connected to the coupling groove formed in the piston. The oil passage is disposed between one end of the vane and the rolling piston so as to receive oil therethrough.
Rotary compressor
A rotary compressor includes a sealed longitudinal compressor housing which is provided with a discharge portion of a refrigerant at an upper portion thereof, is provided with an inlet portion of a refrigerant at a lower portion thereof, and in which lubricant oil is stored; a compressing unit which is disposed in the compressor housing, compresses a refrigerant sucked from the inlet portion and discharges the refrigerant from the discharge portion; a motor which is disposed in the compressor housing and drives the compressing unit via a rotation shaft; and an accumulator which is attached to a side portion of the compressor housing and is connected to the inlet portion of the refrigerant. When an inner diameter of a cylinder constituting the compressing unit is referred to as Dc, a height of the cylinder is referred to as Hc, and an eccentric amount of an eccentric portion of the rotation shaft is referred to as e, Dc, Hc, and e are set so that a value obtained by an expression (e+Hc).Math.(Dce).sup.1/3/(e.Math.Hc).sup.2/3 is less than 4.1.

Rotary compressor with vane coupled to rolling piston
A compressor including a hinge recess formed at a rolling piston and a hinge protrusion formed at a vane to be inserted into the hinge recess. A diameter of the hinge protrusion is greater than an interval between both ends of an opening of the hinge recess. A bearing surface, which comes in contact with an inner circumferential surface of the hinge recess, of an outer circumferential surface of the hinge protrusion, has a circumferential surface below 90 at both sides, respectively, based on a central line in a lengthwise direction of the vane. This structure may facilitate cutting and grinding of the bearing surface so as to reduce machining costs, and also improve a machining degree and thus stabilize behaviors of the rolling piston and the vane so as to enhance compression efficiency.

Rotary vane compressor with residual refrigerant removal
A rotary compressor includes at least one cylinder in which a discharge guide groove is disposed at one side of a vane slot; a roller orbitably provided in the cylinder, and disposed with a hinge groove on an outer circumferential surface thereof; a vane in which one end portion thereof is rotatably inserted into the hinge groove of the roller, and the other end portion thereof is slidably inserted into the vane slot of the cylinder; and a plurality of bearing plates that seals both side surfaces of the cylinder, and at least one side of which is disposed with a discharge port to communicate with the discharge guide groove. The discharge port communicates with a refrigerant residual space defined between the vane slot and the discharge guide groove. Refrigerant in the refrigerant residual space may be discharged even after the roller passes through the discharge guide groove.
