Systems and methods for pruning plants
An unmanned pruning vehicle includes a pruning device configured to prune plant material from a plant. The unmanned pruning vehicle also includes a processing circuit is configured to control operation of the pruning device to prune a plant.
Apparatus for tree trimming and tree maintenance
Disclosed herein is an apparatus preferably coupled to a boom on a truck, the apparatus capable of a plurality of configurations for a variety of applications. In one configuration, the apparatus can perform rapid semi-precise cutting of vegetation. In another configuration, the apparatus can perform more precise trimming of one or more areas (e.g., limbs) and optionally use a limb clamp to prevent cut limbs/vegetation from arbitrarily falling on objects below the cutting area. In yet another configuration, the apparatus can have a grapple or similar device attached to the end of the boom for use in relocating debris or for loading debris into a removal facility such as dump or garbage truck. In each configuration, the apparatus comprises one or more rotatable or pivoting couplings to allow for rotation about one or more axis and therefore allow precise manipulation from an operator in the vehicle or on the ground.
Saw Blade For Circular Saw And Use Of Such Saw Blade In A Brush Cutter
The present disclosure provides a saw blade (10), comprising a generally circular blade base body (100), and a plurality of teeth (101a, 101b), extending radially from the base body (100). The teeth (101a, 101b) are alternatingly set towards opposing axial (A) directions of the saw blade, such that each tooth presents a respective tooth plane, which is angled relative to a base body plane. The teeth (101a, 101b) present a respective first cutting edge (102a, 102b), extending along a radially distal edge portion (103) of the respective tooth, along a length of the tooth, as seen in a direction of rotation of the saw blade. The radially distal edge portion (103) presents a first bevel (104), providing a first bevel surface (105) which is non-perpendicular relative to the tooth plane. The radially distal edge portion (103) presents, at a radially outermost portion thereof, a hard portion (106) having greater hardness than the base body (100).
The present disclosure further provides the use of such a saw blade in a brush cutter.
DEVICE FOR GATHERING AND CUTTING VEGETATION
A device adapted for gathering and cutting vegetation includes a support, a vegetation cutter carried on the support and a vegetation gatherer carried on the support. The vegetation gatherer is adapted to (a) gather vegetation, such as a plurality of limbs, and (b) direct the gathered vegetation into the vegetation cutter for cutting.
CUTTING APPARATUS
An apparatus for cutting involves a support configured to stably support the apparatus on a surface, an articulated boom rotatably mounted on the support proximate a first end of the boom, and a hydraulically operated end effector mounted on the boom proximate a second end of the boom. The end effector has a cutter configured to cut an object, and preferably also has an immobilizer (e.g. a gripper) configured to immobilize the object while being cut by the cutter. The end effector has a swivel between the cutter (and/or immobilizer) and the boom, the swivel rotatable continuously through 360 to rotate the cutter (and/or immobilizer) continuously through 360. The swivel has an internal fluid conduit through which hydraulic fluid may be transported from a hydraulic fluid reservoir to the cutter to hydraulically operate the cutter.
IMPLEMENT SYSTEM FOR A MACHINE
An implement system for a machine. The implement system includes a boom, an implement, a roller assembly and a carriage. The boom has a telescopic structure and a first end. The implement is coupled to the first end of the boom. The roller assembly is configured to be coupled to the machine. The carriage is engaged with the roller assembly and is coupled to the boom. The carriage is configured to move linearly along a longitudinal axis of the machine between a first position and a second position.
Mobile tree-trimming apparatus
An apparatus, such as for tree trimming, includes a mobile carriage having a frame and a pedestal supported by the frame. The apparatus further includes a boom, such as a telescoping boom that is secured to the pedestal through a boom support. The pedestal is pivotable with respect to the carriage frame so that the boom may be selectively operated in a variety of orientations. The mobile carriage of the apparatus is sufficiently compact to fit though tight openings, while also being capable of stably supporting boom extension for operation of a distal end of the boom at elevated heights.
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A CUTTING TOOL FOR A VEGETATION CUTTING MACHINE AND CORRESPONDING CUTTING TOOL
The invention relates to a process for manufacturing a cutting tool for a vegetation cutting machine, such as a brush cutter or an edge trimmer, comprising the following steps: (a) producing by an injection molding process at a first temperature a preform (200) made of a polyamide mixture comprising at least one homopolymer and at least one copolymer; (b) stamping the preform at a second temperature lower than the first temperature so as to cause polymer chains of the polyamide mixture to extend according to at least two different directions, thereby forming a planar piece (201), (c) cutting the planar piece (201) to define at least one cutting edge of the cutting tool (2).
WORKING MACHINE AND METHOD OF BRAKING DRIVING DEVICE OF WORKING MACHINE
A working machine according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises an operating device, a working tool, a driving device, a braking device, a detection device, and a change device. The detection device detects a mode of an operation performed on the operating device. The change device changes a brake control to be performed by the braking device according to the mode detected by the detection device.
Hand-guided garden, forestry and/or construction working apparatus and method for a hand-guided garden, forestry and/or construction working apparatus
A hand-guided garden, forestry and/or construction working apparatus has an inactive state, an active state and a variable setting, as well as an apparatus operator control element which can be activated by a user. In the inactive state, the garden, forestry and/or construction working apparatus is designed to be transferred into the active state triggered by activation of the apparatus operator control element, and in the active state the garden, forestry and/or construction working apparatus is designed to change the setting and not to be transferred into the inactive state triggered by activation of the apparatus operator control element.
