Chopper pump with double-edged cutting bars
An impeller assembly with an impeller and a cutter bar plate is used in a chopper pump system which handles liquid material sometimes entrained with large debris and stringy matter. The debris and matter present clogging hazards, which are reduced by a combination of scissoring between sharpened impeller blades and shearing fingers, and between cutting wings and shearing fingers. To make the cutting feature more aggressive, sharpened edges along two of the scissoring edges of the shearing fingers are utilized. Preferably, the sharpened edges are either the result of machined v-notches on the cutting surface of the shearing fingers or of a casted part having a cupped surface. Generally speaking, the impeller assembly comprises an impeller attached to a rotatable pump shaft and includes a back shroud.
Nuclear abrasive slurry waste pump with backstop and macerator
Nuclear abrasive slurry waste pump systems, devices, and methods for retrieving waste materials and/or other material from storage tanks with liquefied tank material. The systems, devices and methods can work with tanks having high temperature conditions up to approximately 212 degrees Fahrenheit or low temperature conditions down to approximately 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
REVERSING GRINDER PUMP
A reversible grinder pump with cutter plate and cutter blade, wherein the cutter plate is attached to an inlet of the reversible grinder pump and is located adjacent to the cutter blade, wherein the cutter plate includes pairs of angled openings, wherein each of the pair of angled openings extends through the cutter plate and has a shape which is a mirror image of the other angled opening of the pair of angled openings, when viewed from above a surface of the cutter plate. The cutter blade of the reversible grinder pump contains a pair of triangular cross section, prism-shaped cutting edges, which are congruent to each other and reflective, extending in opposite directions from each other.
IMPELLER SEAT FOR A PUMP
An impeller seat for a pump, the impeller seat comprising an inlet wall, an inlet radius, a guide pin connected to and extending radially inwards from the inlet wall, and a feeding groove arranged in the upper surface of the impeller seat, extending from the inlet wall to the periphery of the impeller seat. The guide pin includes a tip radius. A 15%-circle is offset radially inwards from a circular intersection fifteen percent of the difference between the inlet radius and the tip radius. A groove inlet upstream edge line of the impeller seat intersects an upstream edge of the feeding groove at the circular intersection, seen in the direction of rotation of the pump. A groove inlet upstream edge angle between a radius of the impeller seat intersecting an upstream edge of the guide pin at the 15%-circle, seen in the direction of rotation of the pump.
FINGER PUMP
In this pump, the angle between the imaginary tangent plane to the lip and passing through the axis and an imaginary straight line, perpendicular to the axis and passing through the point furthest from the axis of intersection of the upper surface of a finger with the lateral leading surface of this finger, is between 110 and 140.
Shredding assembly for a grinder pump and centrifugal grinder pump
A shredding assembly for a grinder pump includes a stationary shredding ring mounted to an inlet of the pump, and a cutting device rotatable about an axial direction and fixed to a shaft of the pump. The shredding ring includes a top face, a bottom face, and a central opening extending from the top face to the bottom face and delimited in a radial direction by an inner periphery. Slots extending in the axial direction are formed in the inner periphery. The cutting device is positioned in the central opening of the shredding ring, and includes a front face and a back face. The front face includes a plurality of first cutting members extending in the axial direction and facing the slots. The back face includes a second cutting member projecting beyond the central opening with respect to the radial direction.
ROTARY-PULSATION DEVICE
The invention relates to devices for the treatment of aqueous pulps of organic materials, and can be used in the food industry, perfumes, in the production of technical and food alcohol, in the processing of organic waste, etc. The invention comprises a rotary-pulsation device containing a drive, a stator and a rotor installed in the housing, on the working surfaces of the stator and rotor are rows of teeth concentrically arranged around the circumference, between which grooves are formed, and the teeth of adjacent rows are offset relative to each other. The device contains a zone of abrasion of particles formed between the rotor blades mounted on the working surface of the rotor and additional stator grooves having an extension from the center of rotation, the stator has a fluid inlet fitting, equipped with a valve, a gas supply fitting is installed on the housing, connected by gas supply channels with gas flow distribution elements clamped by a sealing cover; and a vibration sensor is additionally installed on the outer side of the stator to diagnose conditions of the working bodies and for continuous correction the shaft rotation speed. The invention allows to increase reliability of the rotary-pulsation device by reducing a number of stops for manual cleaning and to reduce failure rates due to breakage; to increase processing efficiency. The device expands a scope of usage due to a possibility of automatic processing of water pulps containing large-sized and extended fragments; it provides a saturation of the treated pulp with small gas bubbles; finally, automation capabilities may be expanded when integrating the device into the substrate processing systems.
BLADE AND PUMP IMPELLER ASSEMBLY FOR A DISHWASHER
A dishwasher comprising a chassis, a tub supported by the chassis and at least partially defining a treating chamber, and a pump that circulates wash liquid in the treating chamber. The pump has an impeller that has a cover, a base with an axis of rotation, and at least one fin protruding from the base. The impeller also has a cap removably coupled to the impeller and at least one blade integrally formed with the cap.
Centrifugal pump with serrated impeller
A centrifugal pump and an impeller thereof are provided. The impeller defines an outer peripheral edge which includes a plurality of serrations circumferentially thereon. The plurality of serrations are configured such that additional power and momentum are transferred to a working fluid of the pump, which results in an additional pressure rise in the working fluid at relatively low flow rates of the centrifugal pump.
Finger pump
In this pump, the angle between the imaginary tangent plane to the lip and passing through the axis and an imaginary straight line, perpendicular to the axis and passing through the point furthest from the axis of intersection of the upper surface of a finger with the lateral leading surface of this finger, is between 110 and 140.
