PLANT HOLDER FOR GROWING PLANTS
A stackable plant holder for growing one or more plants is provided. The stackable plant holder includes: (i) a plant box, (ii) a vent, and (iii) an adjustable hanger. The plant box is filled with soil. The vent is adapted to drain an excess of water into a gutter. The vent is provided at the bottom of the plant box. The adjustable hanger is adapted to be coupled to backside of the plant box to hang the plant box.
Pivoting hanging baskets assemblage weighted for gravity closure
Hanging baskets assemblage includes a plurality of vertically mounted baskets pivotally suspended in a support framework allowing them to swing freely. Freely pivoting hanging baskets in the assemblage allows the baskets to easily tilt down on one side to expose contents simply with the weight of a hand. The utility is further augmented by an optional ancillary member, which provides a counter balance weight hung on one side of a plurality of baskets to assist gravity to allow the baskets to pivot back to a neutral or closed position. The ancillary member also permits the simultaneous opening and closing of all the baskets offering further utility. One embodiment of said ancillary member has a series of insertion cutouts with lip-hooks that engage with the baskets through an insertion slot in the rigid basket brims, a second embodiment is attached directly to the baskets with coupled eye-screws or other bendable means.
TRANSFORMABLE GREENHOUSE SYSTEM
A transformable greenhouse system comprises devices for growing plants arranged in rows (2), where each of said devices includes vertical bearing posts (3) to which horizontal beams (5) are hinged, on which the vegetation receptacles of plants (10) are hung. The horizontal beams have the ability to turn and move in the vertical plane by means of a drive. In addition, the mentioned beams have the capability of being fixed in the vertical plane to place the vegetation receptacles of plants at different heights. The vegetation receptacles of plants are located on horizontal beams with the capability of adjusting the distance between them.
Plant Pot Hanger
A plant pot hanger has three or more cables, each of which cables have a first end and a second end, and wherein the three or more cables are secured together at the first ends of the respective cables. A sliding loop is formed at the second end of each respective cable. Each cable is threaded through the sliding loop of a respective adjacent cable to form a ring adaptable for running under a rim of a plant pot and supporting the plant pot. A loop or a hook for hanging the plant pot preferably extends from the respective first ends of the three or more cables. The three or more cables are preferably run through a slide collar which is slid downwardly, thereby reducing the angle of the cables from horizontal, and reducing the swing and spin of the plant pot hanger in wind.
SYSTEM FOR GROWING PLANTS AND METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF
A system for growing plants, the system may include a substrate having one or more weakened areas or openings: one or more grow portions coupled to the substrate and situated at the one or more weakened areas or openings and having at least one seed or plant; and/or a fluid distribution portion coupled to the substrate and configured to provide fluid to the one or more grow portions. The system may further include a method of operation including one or more acts of: obtaining a weather forecast for a future time period; determining whether rain is expected during the future time period; and preventing, terminating, or restricting an irrigation cycle when it is determined that rain is expected during the future time period. The restricting may restrict a flow of liquid during the irrigation cycle or shorten the irrigation interval.
Irrigation System For Hanging Plants And Method Of Irrigating Hanging Plants
An irrigation system for hanging plants in a hanging plant carousel system that includes a frame and a measuring assembly. The frame is fixedly coupled to a substantially stationary structure, such as the building or a portion of a truss system supporting the carousel system. The measuring assembly includes a movable arm, a sensor and a controller. The movable arm has a contact surface with a measuring start and end point, which extends into the path of the basket hook coupled to the cable of the carousel system. The movable arm is displaceable by at least one of the basket hook or a plant pot structure coupled thereto. The sensor coupled to the movable arm and is configured to provide data from which the weight of a plant pot structure can be determined. The controller is configured to control a watering system to provide water to the plant pot structure.
Plant stand with multiple lighting devices and plant holders
A plant stand includes one or more light subsystems and one or more corresponding plant holder subsystems. Each light subsystem includes two lighting devices for providing light to plants contained in a corresponding plant holder of a plant holder subsystem. The lighting devices are adapted to be tilted for adjusting the illumination projected onto the plants. The subsystems are attached to a frame supported by a stand subsystem sitting on a flat surface. The frame incorporates a top end for hanging the plant stand. The frame further incorporates multiple apertures for attaching the subsystems at different heights.

A hydroponics plant growing system comprises a bamboo tower having a grow chamber and a water chamber formed therein. A plurality of grow cups are attached to side of the tower adjacent the grow chamber. Cutouts in a sidewall of the tower form passageways between the grow cups and grow chamber. A low voltage electric pump is disposed in the water chamber to pump water to the top of the grow chamber.
