INSTALLATION FOR A HANGING CULTIVATION SYSTEM
An installation having a plurality of conduits hung by means of pairs of steel cables connected to rotary shafts such that the rotation of same causes some conduits to ascend and others to descend, allowing same to be situated at different heights. The rotary shafts from which the cables of the conduits hang are actuated by means of reducers actuated by means of a chain-and-sprocket drive that is actuated by a main shaft connected to a motor reducer.
SYSTEM FOR GROWING PLANTS AND METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF
A system for growing plants, the system may include a substrate having one or more weakened areas or openings: one or more grow portions coupled to the substrate and situated at the one or more weakened areas or openings and having at least one seed or plant; and/or a fluid distribution portion coupled to the substrate and configured to provide fluid to the one or more grow portions. The system may further include a method of operation including one or more acts of: obtaining a weather forecast for a future time period; determining whether rain is expected during the future time period; and preventing, terminating, or restricting an irrigation cycle when it is determined that rain is expected during the fare time period. The restricting may restrict a flow of liquid during the irrigation cycle or shorten the irrigation interval.
Multifunctional hanging-type plant-growing assembly
A multifunctional hanging-type plant-growing assembly, comprising a supporting system, a planting system and a watering system; the supporting system comprises a bottom frame, at least two stand columns that are fixed on the bottom frame and extend upwards, and hanging hooks disposed on the stand columns; the planting system comprises at least one planting basket and at least one flowerpot placed in the planting basket; the watering system comprises a water storage tank, a water pump matched with the water storage tank, and a water pipe with one end connected to the water outlet of the water pump; the water pump is connected to the power supply through a control switch.
Hanging planter with obscured attachment point
A planter includes a wall and a rim formed at an open end portion of the wall. A set of holes is formed through the wall and is disposed on a surface beneath the rim. The surface beneath the rim includes a shape to obscure a view of the hole below the rim.
Pot Suspension Apparatus, System, and Related Methods
Disclosed is a pot suspension apparatus that allows a user to safely, efficiently, and easily hang multiple pots from each other through its center drain hole so that the pots are suspended along the same vertical axis. The pot suspension apparatus features a rod with a hook and an eye, wherein the hook from one rod and can hang off of the eye of a second rod. The pot suspension apparatus also features multiple flanges that secure a pot in place along a rod and allow for organized and directed drainage of water through the suspended pots.
TOOL FOR HANDLING HANGING BASKET
Disclosed are tools for handling hanging baskets to provide improved ability to handle hanging baskets of different sizes. The tool includes a bowl for holding the hanging basket and a pole or a connector for a pole so that hanging baskets above one's reach can be handled. The bowl preferably includes one or more support components for supporting the weight of the hanging basket. The bowl preferably includes one or more stabilizing component for reducing or minimizing motion of the hanging basket in the bowl (e.g., while raising or lowering the hanging basket). The bowl preferably includes one or more reinforcing components for reinforcing the bowl (e.g., located near a rim of the bowl and/or near a base of the bowl).
System for growing plants
A system for growing plants includes an elevated track circuit comprising two straight track sections and two arcuate track sections, with the straight track sections each including a cavity. A plurality of wheeled trolleys that each include a wheel configured to roll within the cavities and each include a shaft extending downwardly form the wheel. A drive system is configured to move the wheeled trolleys along the track circuit with the wheeled trolleys connected together by a cable, and with the shafts of the trolleys configured to support plants coupled thereto to selectively move the plants along the track circuit. Uses of the system include for growing produce of vine plants in a lean-and-lower manner, or transporting hanging plants through an irrigation device of the system.
Plant Growing System
A plant growing system includes a plurality of containers. Each of the containers includes a perimeter wall having an upper edge and a lower edge. The upper edge bounds an upper opening into the container and the lower edge bounds a lower opening. The perimeter wall includes a top portion adjacent to the upper edge, a bottom portion adjacent to the lower edge and a central portion positioned between the top and bottom portions. The perimeter wall has a slot therein extending downwardly into the upper edge. The slot extends through the top portion and through at least a part of the central portion. A rack for releasably receiving each of the containers is provided such that the containers are vertically aligned with each other.
Living plant display and storage system, apparatus and method
A new or improved modular plant display and storage system that reduces the risks of plants tipping over and of spillage of plant and soil (or other growing medium) out the top of the pot, as well as the risk of water (and soil/growing medium) seepage and mess from the bottom of the pot. The invention can house potted plants without the need to re-pot or transplant the plants into growing medium that sits within the modular structure.
