MODULAR PLANTING TRAY AND VERTICAL WALL PLANTING SYSTEM
A vertical wall display system for displaying potted plants includes trays that have a base portion and a back portion disposed at an acute angle with respect to each other. The base portion of the tray defines a plurality of niches in a linear array for receiving potted plants, each niche defines a reservoir capable of retaining a predetermined volume of a fluid. The back portion of the tray includes connecting elements for connecting the back portion of one tray with the back portion of a second tray so that the trays are substantially co-planar. Each of the trays define at least two sections that are joined so at to be separable into discrete sections that include different numbers of niches.
MOBILE ROBOT AND ROBOTIC FARMING SYSTEM
A robotic farming system includes a storage structure and a mobile robot. The storage structure has a set of parallel rails and is configured to accommodate crops in a plurality of horizontal rows arranged in a vertical direction. The robot includes a body, a mobility assembly to move the body along the set of parallel rails and a service effector for servicing the crops. The service effector may be provided on a plate that is extendable in a vertical direction relative to the body for servicing the crops accommodated within the storage structure. In one aspect, the service effector includes one or more nozzles for spraying fluid such as water, a gas or growth media on the crops. Alternatively, the service effector may be a manipulator and/or pruning tool.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MIXING GROW MEDIA AND ADDMIXTURES WITH A POLYMER FOR SPRAYING ONTO SURFACES FOR THE GROWING OF PLANTS AND THE MANAGEMENT OF WATER
The invention taught is a method and apparatus to mix a special polymer, hot water or other hot water material containing additives and a special mixture of dry growing substances mixed in a particular way so that they may be applied to structures such as to ceilings, walls, and any grade of vertical slants, commercial roofs, courtyards, indoor and outdoor applications. The purpose is to coat any surface and grow any plant for any reason be it erosion control, beautification of an area. The invention would help in reforestation after fires and such. This invention has a wide range of applications and so it is impossible to limit it to just one of these applications. Green parking lots and green areas that before could not be made green is just one area for the invention.
Vertical hydroponic system
A vertical hydroponic system comprising a hollow cylindrical growing housing including a first end, a second end, and a peripheral surface having a plurality of apertures, the plurality of apertures having an external opening and an internal opening, the external opening located at a distance offset from the internal opening creating an angled surface extending between the external and internal opening, a spray nozzle located at the first end, a drain apparatus located at the second end, a container containing a liquid, a pump submerged in the liquid, a supply line extending from the pump to the spray nozzle, and a drain line extending from the drain apparatus to the container.
Vertical aeroponic growing apparatus
A vertical aeroponic growing apparatus is disclosed which includes a hollow structure having a top wall, a sidewall, and a bottom wall. A plurality of openings is formed through the sidewall. A thermal, light refractive cover is wrapped around the sidewall. The cover has a plurality of openings formed therethrough which correspond to the plurality of openings formed in the sidewall. A fitting is positioned in each of the plurality of openings in which a plant will be supported. A cap closes off any of the plurality of openings which are not needed to support the fitting. A drain pipe is secured to the bottom wall for allowing excess nutrient laden water to be removed. Lastly, an irrigation tube routes nutrient laden water to the hollow structure. A nozzle attached to an end of the irrigation tube delivers a fine mist of the nutrient laden water to the plant roots.
GREENWALL CLADDING
A greenwall cladding system for the growth of organisms such as plants and fungi on the side of structures, such as internal and external walls of buildings, is provided. Methods for the production of organisms on a greenwall cladding system, such as plants and fungi are also provided herein.
PLANT CULTIVATION DEVICE AND GREENING APPARATUS THEREOF
A plant cultivation device and a greening apparatus thereof are provided. The plant cultivation device includes a fixing member which includes a first channel, a shared channel and a plurality of first through-holes. The first through-hole is connected with the first channel and the shared channel, and passes through an upper surface of the fixing member. Both the first through-hole and the shared channel are stack-up with each other, and the first through-hole is located above the shared channel. The shared channel is configured to fill with a cultivation medium, and the first channel is configured to store water flowing from the shared channel by the first through-hole when too much water is stored in the shared channel. The present disclosure can optimize a growing environment of plants.
Multifunctional hanging-type plant-growing assembly
A multifunctional hanging-type plant-growing assembly, comprising a supporting system, a planting system and a watering system; the supporting system comprises a bottom frame, at least two stand columns that are fixed on the bottom frame and extend upwards, and hanging hooks disposed on the stand columns; the planting system comprises at least one planting basket and at least one flowerpot placed in the planting basket; the watering system comprises a water storage tank, a water pump matched with the water storage tank, and a water pipe with one end connected to the water outlet of the water pump; the water pump is connected to the power supply through a control switch.
Apparatus for the growing of plants and a growing device
The invention relates to an apparatus for the growing of plants, which includes a frame, to which plants can be set to grow in a substrate, irrigation means fitted to the frame, for irrigating the substrate with an irrigation liquid, and means fitted to the frame for creating an airflow through the substrate. At least some of the plants together with their substrates are placed in modular growing units and places are arranged in the frame for the growing units, into which they can be detachably installed, independently of the irrigation means. In addition, the invention also relates to a growing device.
