Such vertical garden systems can be easily installed without substantially damaging the wall segment. An irrigation system and a monitoring system for the vertical garden system with high efficiency in water consumption and low operating and maintenance costs are also envisaged. Methods of mounting and dismounting the mounting panels in the vertical garden system are also disclosed.
