Self-contained plant watering apparatus system
The object of the present invention to provide an improved plant watering system which can be easily hooked up and provides a regulated flow of water to any type of plant. It is another object of the present invention to provide an improved watering apparatus, which can be easily hooked up to any type of irrigation system available, and keep the planter and/or plant hanger from corrosion and wear by keeping the water in a flexible hose threaded through the wood post and/or steel tubing structure. It is a further object of the present invention to provide an improved watering apparatus, which is simple and inexpensive in construction, which can be used indoor or outdoor for growing and displaying plants.
Hydroponic roof gutter system
The present invention is an apparatus that is utilized as a hydroponic growth conduit located around the perimeter of a building roof, where the plant media growth extends over the roof providing shade and a form of insulation for the building. The system serves as a form of green roofing that does not require a soil medium to grow the plants and therefore does not require the related additional structural components or costs. Existing roofs can easily be modified to accommodate this proposed apparatus. Said apparatus retains a designed volume of water to provide a growth medium for the plant's root systems. The apparatus continues to function similarly to a traditional roof gutter, collecting, conveying and discharging accumulated rain water.
Living art frame
A living art article incorporates traditional art elements and also incorporates a living element in the form of a living plant, including cut flowers, etc.
DEVICE FOR VERTICAL CULTIVATION OF PLANTS AND METHOD THEREOF
A planting device for cultivating plants is disclosed. The planting device includes a planting panel that further incudes a planting material having properties to absorb and retain water and air. The planting panel includes a mesh metal fence panel, such that, the planting material is molded onto the mesh metal fence panel. Additionally, the mesh metal fence panel includes a soaker hose to dispense water to the planting material and a fertilizer groove to supply nutrient material to the planting material through the dispensed water. The planting device further includes one more vertical supports. The planting panel is attached to the one or more vertical supports, via the mesh metal fence panel, to maintain a steady vertical position.
AEROPONIC INSTALLATION, SYSTEM AND FREIGHT CONTAINER
An aeroponic plant growth installation includes: a vertical support including a side capable of defining an inside of the vertical support extending from an upper end to a lower end of the vertical support, the at least one side including receiving openings each adapted to receive a cultivation container; a plurality of cultivation containers each including: a wall having a cross section defining an interior space, and first and second ends open, the cultivation containers being capable of being received in a receiving opening such that the second end of the cultivation container is inside the vertical support, and a material which is deformable so as to allow the growth of a plant, the material being disposed in the interior space of the cultivation containers; and a misting system capable of spraying a nutrient liquid onto the roots of the plant at the upper end of the vertical support.
Growth device for crop, use of such a device, and a series of growth devices
Growth device for crop, comprising a panel-shaped structure, a substrate included in the panel-shaped structure for receiving crop, at least one water reservoir included in the panel-shaped structure, connecting means to bring the water reservoir in communication with the substrates for moistening the substrate, wherein the water reservoir extends substantially above a bottom side of the substrate in a vertical position of use of the growth device.
Vertical Aeroponic Growing Apparatus
A vertical aeroponic growing apparatus is disclosed which includes a hollow structure having a top wall, a sidewall, and a bottom wall. A plurality of openings is formed through the sidewall. A thermal, light refractive cover is wrapped around the sidewall. The cover has a plurality of openings formed therethrough which correspond to the plurality of openings formed in the sidewall. A fitting is positioned in each of the plurality of openings in which a plant will be supported. A cap closes off any of the plurality of openings which are not needed to support a fitting. A drain pipe is secured to the bottom wall for allowing excess nutrient laden water to be removed. Lastly, an irrigation tube routes nutrient laden water to the hollow structure. A nozzle attached to an end of the irrigation tube delivers a fine mist of the nutrient laden water to the plant roots.
GREEN CONSTRUCTION ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
A green construction element forming a vertical surface of the construction, the element including a porous concrete element and a coating on at least one of the surfaces of the porous concrete, directly in contact with the surface, the coating, which is favourable to the development of plants, including a plant or a seed of the plant, and the porous concrete having a porosity of between 10% and 40% in the hardened state thereof, before application of the coating, so as to be able to render the vertical surface of the construction green.
FENCE PANEL
This invention relates to a fence panel and in particular to a fence panel that includes one or more support structures for supporting plants. A fence panel comprises a frame including a pair of upright frame members and a pair of rails, the rails extending between the upright frame members, and the frame defining a plane of the fence panel; a screen attached to the frame; and one or more support structures pivotally connected to the frame, an axis of rotation of said pivotal connection being substantially horizontal and said pivotal connection being proximate an edge of the support structure, wherein the or each support structure is rotatable about said pivotal connection between a closed position and an open position, an angle between the support structure and the plane of the fence panel being greater in the open position than in the closed position.
EARTH WALL HAVING A POCKET STRUCTURE FOR RECEIVING VEGETATION
A pocket structure for receiving containerized plants is sloped and hung from a wire of a wire basket. The pocket structure includes hooks, an irrigation fitting and corresponding drip channel to transmit water toward the rear of the pocket, and slots in the walls. The mesh units include braces and are sized for shipping. An earth wall is formed of the mesh units and pockets, and includes irrigation tubing.
