Automated vertical plant cultivation system
An automated outdoor modular vertical plant cultivation system forming a vertical structure is provided. The system includes a plurality of shelves, each shelf having a web and flanges; two posts, each post having a web and flanges. Each shelf of the plurality of shelves is mounted between the two posts with incremental spacing between each adjacent shelf along a vertical length of the two posts. The web of each shelf includes a plurality of openings for retaining planter vessels. The flanges of each shelf retain an embedded structural member. The system includes a fluid circulatory system including shelf irrigation piping extending longitudinally above the web of each shelf; and power or power and data and fluid members for the system distributed from vertical risers located in proximity to the web of the posts, wherein the flanges of the shelves have provisions to retain the fluid circulatory system.
PLANT HOLDING UNIT
The present invention includes a plant holding unit for supporting a plant on a generally vertical member. A plant container held by plant holding unit is held below a plane approximately normal to the outer surface of the generally vertical member. The plant holding unit is configured to support a plant container on a generally vertical member. The plant holding unit includes an opening having an axis and a perimeter edge, wherein the axis is approximately perpendicular to the first plane defining a general direction of plant growth. The plant holding unit also includes a barrier extending generally vertically from and attached to the perimeter edge, wherein the barrier forms a water retaining area.
Modular aeroponics assembly
This invention discloses a modular aeroponics assembly. The assembly comprises base section and a planter section atop the base section. The planter section comprises modular drawers which hold planter pods. The base section comprises a reservoir configured to hold water and nutrients. A plurality of full complete modular drawer assemblies are stacked one top the other to form a single rack assembly. A plurality of such single rack assemblies are stacked side by side to form a multi-rack assembly. Planter pods, which hold plants, are aligned along an axis which is angularly displaced, operatively outwards, about a vertical axis. Noise dampeners are provided just adjacent to each corresponding planter pod. Use of incline geometry, in conjunction with noise dampeners, substantially eliminates noise, wastage, and inefficiencies caused due to water falling upon water and/or water hitting solid.
PLANT SUPPORT AND STRUCTURE SYSTEM
A plant support structure for accommodating plants is described. The plant support structure includes a framework in a vertically extending arrangement forming a plurality of geometric blocks and vertically extending channels formed at a periphery of the geometric blocks. The channels are configured to receive therein a porous material for carrying water from a top end of the plant support structure down the channels for irrigating plants in the channels. A system for accommodating and maintaining plants includes the plant support structure.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MIXING GROW MEDIA AND ADDMIXTURES WITH A POLYMER FOR SPRAYING ONTO SURFACES FOR THE GROWING OF PLANTS AND THE MANAGEMENT OF WATER
The invention taught is a method and apparatus to mix a special polymer, hot water or other hot water material containing additives and a special mixture of dry growing substances mixed in a particular way so that they may be applied to structures such as to ceilings, walls, and any grade of vertical slants, commercial roofs, courtyards, indoor and outdoor applications. The purpose is to coat any surface and grow any plant for any reason be it erosion control, beautification of an area. The invention would help in reforestation after fires and such. This invention has a wide range of applications and so it is impossible to limit it to just one of these applications. Green parking lots and green areas that before could not be made green is just one area for the invention
Modular flower walls
The present invention is a modular wall including a base and a support structure. The support structure is secured to the base with retractable supports. The support structure may be removed from the base, allowing a user to easily move the wall in separate parts. Furthermore, the modular wall includes a decorative panel held up by the support structure. The decorative panel may have flowers attached creating a wall of flowers, or a painted-on decoration. More than one modular wall may be used together to create a wider decorative wall.
CLADDING ELEMENT, BUILDING CLADDING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF AIR PURIFICATION
A cladding element, for a building cladding system, includes an air filtration panel. The air filtration panel includes at least one channel providing an airflow path from a first opening of the channel to a second opening of the channel and a growing medium is arranged to support the growth of vegetation thereon. The growing medium is positioned such that, in use, airflow through the channel from the first opening to the second opening is directed through or across vegetation supported by the growing medium.
MODULAR VERTICAL CULTIVATION WALL SYSTEM AND A METHOD OF PROVIDING A MODULAR VERTICAL CULTIVATION WALL
A modular vertical plant cultivation wall system configured to produce minimal carbon footprint from fabrication through erection, to be built of sustainable material and to be installed rapidly by low skilled labor is provided. The modular vertical cultivation wall system includes at least two vertical posts, at least two planter shelves, at least two endcap walls, and at least one of: a pipe, a seed/plant root retaining matrix, and irrigation fluid. Further, a method of providing a modular vertical cultivation wall is provided.
Plant cultivation device and greening apparatus thereof
A plant cultivation device and a greening apparatus thereof are provided. The plant cultivation device includes a fixing member which includes a first channel, a shared channel and a plurality of first through-holes. The first through-hole is connected with the first channel and the shared channel, and passes through an upper surface of the fixing member. Both the first through-hole and the shared channel are stack-up with each other, and the first through-hole is located above the shared channel. The shared channel is configured to fill with a cultivation medium, and the first channel is configured to store water flowing from the shared channel by the first through-hole when too much water is stored in the shared channel. The present disclosure can optimize a growing environment of plants.
GREENING MODULE, GREENING DEVICE, GREENING BODY AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING GREENING MODULE
Embodiments provide a greening module, a greening device, a greening body and a method for installing the greening module.
